End of June/Beginning of July

I am imagining the heat is as brutal at the end of June as it is in July and August?

The hottest time of the year that I ever went to Florida was in April, and I believe it was absolutely brutal then. 90s and the sun was ferocious.

Is end of June as bad as July and August?

Keep cool tips? (yes, I already have the mister!)

We are going July 3rd - July 13th...

To keep cool... these are things we are trying...

1) Swim
2) Eat inside at least once per day
3) Nap in cool/dark/quiet room
4) Drink lots of water

I am just so darn excited...

My DW and I have ressies from 24 Jun to 1 Jul. I cannot wait to feel the heat (lol). We have talked about an afternoon sit down lunch in the A/C. Possibly a mid-day break at the hotel or an afternoon swim while at the hotel.

I am taking a back pack with squeeze breeze, a bottle of water or two and plenty of sunscreen. I am also thinking about taking an extra pair of socks for while at the park to keep my feet cool.

Overall, I think there are plenty of attractions and things to do inside during the really hot times of the day while still in the park.
