A few years back I wrote a post here as an April Fool's Day joke along these lines. I researched some high end copiers and paper specs and wrote a 'how to' on counterfeiting these, total BS but I suppose the instructions looked genuine. Some buffoon here fell for it, complained to a Mod and got it removed.

I framed the map set I got..after I found out those where discontinued as well!..over the years I just tossed them and got a new set...these last ones I still had thankfully!

I literally ONLY know of this because someone literally posted an image of Homer with money and all over the place it said that no one was accepting I & S Money and he had a wad of it in his hands. I don't watch, only reason why I'm asking!

Yep. From the classic episode Itchy & Scratchy Land. Any Disney Parks lover should watch it.

I don't recall seeing them in any of the shops at WDW...

I don't remember them ever being out in view for sale, but you could ask for them. You used to be able to buy them at Disney Stores around the country in addition to at the parks, but then they cut it back so they were only available in the parks, and I thought maybe just at Guest Services.

I have a stash of them that I used to use to pay my DD for chores. After they did away with being able to purchase them at the Disney Stores, I started exchanging her Disney Dollars for a plastic gift card before our trips and would put the Disney Dollars back in the drawer to reuse. Now she would rather have "real" dollars for her chores. But maybe I can hold onto these for a while and make a killing on eBay in a few years!
