End of April weather/crowds?

Hi everyone,

We are still trying to get to DL! We are WDW vets, have been there many times, and would really like to go to DL! We would be a family of 12-3 familys total. We are considering the very end of April. Can anyone tell me what the weather is like at that time? Can we swim? We will have 5 little ones, so hopefully they can swim! We are thinking of staying at the Disneyland Hotel as opposed to Hojo's just for the atmosphere etc. Any advice on weather/crowds, or anything else I should consider? And YES, I have ready Hydro's excellent articles!

We love going at the end of April.
Crowds are low during the week...or at least they were in the past. Never had a problem with Grad nights because they start in May. There are some occasional refubs. This year expect BTMRR to be down at the very least.
Weather wise it can be drizzly and rainy at times, especially in the morning and then warm up during the day. You may be able to use the hotel pool too...Hard to say because the weather in So Cal has been so weird lately.
