Both this and Wicked Wind Down include the reserved fireworks viewing area. Here are the differences based on the descriptions on the member website.

Wicked Wind Down - $55 per person (plus tax and service fees). Includes cocktail, appetizer, and dessert.

Enchantment at the Top - Friday nights only, $89 per adult (plus tax) or $49 (plus tax) for children. Includes dessert buffet and open bar assortment of adult beverages.

I assume Wicked Wind Down will not occur on Fridays once this starts on November 18.

I won’t be there in a Friday in December but probably would try it if we were!

My friends are big time dessert people!!

This costs double than Boma and it's just desserts. While I could easily eat my weight in dessert, it's difficult to say a dessert buffet is worth more than a Boma buffet. Even if we say it's worth the same (it's not) would I be paying at least $40 for a distant, out of center, view of the fireworks and no projections on the castle? I am not interested in the slightest.

I just looked at it since we are going to Wicked Wind Down the week after. However, the only Friday we will be able to attend is the 18th and that is a MVMCP night. I assume they just hold it with no fireworks that night; is that accurate? Or would they push it back to the 10 pm MVMCP fireworks?

This sounds interesting but it doesn’t seem to work for us this trip. With no fireworks, it’s too much money (kids are 9 and under). With the fireworks, it’s late and we’re already doing MVMCP one night as the late night for our kids.

My college roomie and I had a gal pal trip planned at the end of September. We were scheduled to arrive the day Hurricane Ian hit. So, we rescheduled for January 2023. We had a Wicked Wind Down event booked and were really looking forward to it. We both aren't as excited about the Enchantment event...we like the idea of an app plus dessert and the smaller price tag.

Will the Wicked Wind Down event still exist in January 2023? We definitely want to rebook that event. I looked on my DVC page and dashboard and I see nothing listed about it, so I was a little worried that WWD was being replaced by the Enchantment event.

@DisneyMountainWoman we were really excited about Wicked Wind Down but no so excited about the Enchantment/dessert only option. I'm hoping WWD still exists and that we can book it in January 2023.

Does anyone know what type, if any, of the desserts are gluten free? Can they do anything to accommodate allergies? Given the price of these events I would like to think they would. Otherwise I’ll need to drink like my weight in cocktails 🤣

We are booked to attend on Friday, December 9. Because it is a MVMCP night, doors open at 8:30 and fireworks are at 10PM. We are really looking forward to it! Haven't been to TOTW since the week of the COVID shutdown.

Could be a decently fair price if you're taking full advantage of the open bar beverages. For light drinkers or non-drinkers not so much.
Plus, it's a dessert "buffet", not a single dessert per person. Not suggesting that parking on front of it like you're at Golden Corral is a good idea, but if you take the opportunity to sample several different desserts in addition to even enjoying a single extra cocktail, I think you could justify paying the difference in cost.

True. This event is not for me, since neither dessert nor alcohol really moves my needle. But for plenty of people who are not me, seems like a nice event. Good to see new options, anyway.

I am completely confused on TOTW access. There are now 2 different options for paid access, right? So are there any nights to just go up to watch fireworks for free? Or do the events take up all the space? Sorry for the dumb question. I am really out-of-the-loop!

You can always go up for free, subject to overall capacity. I have no ideal how much of the space is reserved for these events.

People can check in starting at 5:45 pm to go up if you are eligible for membership extras and will allowed to go up depending on how busy it is,

Those who paid for the event must check in no later than 30 minutes before fireworks, starting at 8 am. They can go early if they want but then follow the FCFS rules,

If the even sells out, then all the tables will be reserved and getting in will be more difficult and you may need to go on a waitlist.

Do they allow access just to the deck for the fireworks, or only allow people up until there are free tables?

I know you must go on a waitlist for a table no matter what but sometimes they are allowing people up to the deck 15 minutes before just to see fireworks.

But we had the event booked so I don’t know for sure.

I do know thing have changed a bit since it first started with initial reports that you could at least go to the bar to get a drink but have also seen reports that not unless you have a table..

I like wicked wind down thought it was a fair price... but now that priced me out :(
AGREE
Just tried to reserve Wicked Wind Down for January at our 60 Day point, only to be told that the WWD dates were only through Dec.29, but they could book the Enchantment Package or Bound to be Bad package, at the much higher price. The DVC website states that the Wicked Wind Down excludes Wed. & Fri. dates in January, so the implication is that it could still be available on other nights ?????
I guess I will be calling in every morning at 9:00, to see if January Dates for WWD materialize :earboy2:
