Enchantment at the Top Dessert Party

AGREE
Just tried to reserve Wicked Wind Down for January at our 60 Day point, only to be told that the WWD dates were only through Dec.29, but they could book the Enchantment Package or Bound to be Bad package, at the much higher price. The DVC website states that the Wicked Wind Down excludes Wed. & Fri. dates in January, so the implication is that it could still be available on other nights ?????
I guess I will be calling in every morning at 9:00, to see if January Dates for WWD materialize :earboy2:
I’m not sure if this is relevant but I called yesterday 01.11.2023 and Wicked Wind Down is booking until 01.25.2023.

Does anyone know if Wicked Windown offers an alternative dessert. My Husband is diabetic & won't be able to have the cake. * I certainly do not need 2

:rolleyes1

I seem to remember the dessert was served family style for the 4 of us, not one per person… because with teen kids, we had to order an extra

So... maybe I missed something somewhere, but we were just at BLT for Labor Day, and I didn't think you could just go up there anymore. Isn't the Villian's Lair an extra paid event? Are both Wicked Wind Down and Villains Lair extra paid events?

We saw signs for the Villains Lair checkin, but didn't feel like spending extra $$ since we could just see the fireworks from our Std. View Balcony (7406)...

Yes there are paid events, but the Wicked Windown only takes up part of the lounge. if there is space available you are still allowed up without a paid event

Ahh, OK. They make that about clear as mud when you are staying there...

I realize this is an old thread, but it came up in my Google search. Has anyone done either of the paid events recently? Any reviews/opinions?

Honestly, it depends on how much alcohol you will drink, mostly. I have done Enchantment at the Top 4 times, most recently in December. The only food options are mini desserts. You can pretty much have whatever mixed drink you want as long as the have the ingredients at the bar, you are not limited to just the few on the Lounge menu. I prefer the exclusivity it offers. It is a bit of calm in the constant chaos of Disney, LOL. When I went solo in September there were maybe 10 other folks. The other times there were 30 or so. If you are going to have 4 alcoholic drinks, this is a good option. $97 or so includes tax and gratuity for the evening. Prices may have increased recently, I am not sure.

I am hoping to try Wicked Wind Down in May so I will have a basis for comparison.
