Enchanted

BTW, Giselle is not a princess.
She evens says that in the film when she is asked.

Thank you Robo! I love Giselle but have always said she wasn't a princess. Now, Nancy on the other hand.... lol

Julie Andrews is an actress. She *portrayed* Mary Poppins. Like Dan Hedaya playing Richard Nixon in Dick. Johnny Depp *portrayed* Jack Sparrow.

When you see Jack Sparrow in the parks, he is not trying to be Johnny Depp. He is the man Johnny Depp was trying to be.

This is a very good point bradk.

for what it's worth, neither is Mulan, but she's still one of my favs :)

Edited to add: I LOVE Giselle, and I hope they realize she's very popular and bring her out. I agree, though, that Disney seems to drag its feet on introducing new-popular characters/attractions.

 I remember some of us had a lively discussion about "Princess" Nancy when the movie was first released. :rotfl2:

I'm not sure what the real reason is about why she's not appearing in the parks, but it would seem at least a meet & greet would be set up. It certainly is questionable why they'd set up a nearly-two-month-long greeting at the El Capitan Theater but not in a park.

Personally I'd love to see an Enchanted musical at DHS, preferably the Premiere Theater. It would fit right in on New York Street. Although I seriously doubt that would happen, you'd think Disney would do SOMETHING, especially since this year's Oscars certainly proved that the movie could do well on the stage.
