Enchanted Tales with Belle

We've done the attraction 4 times since it opened and not once did they ask if anyone else wanted to come up for a photo. That includes doing it late at night during EMH (11:30 or so) when there wasn't anyone in line, so there was no need to hurry.

I'm really glad to hear it sounds like they are more consistently asking.

Thank you so much for the replies. So how silly would it be for an adult to volunteer to be a dish or fork to make sure they got a photo op with Belle? 8-)

I would love to see an adult volunteer have the Disney spirit to jump in and participate as a dish or a fork! We have done ETWB several times. Sometimes the CMs advise that anyone who did not participate, but wants a photo with Belle should get in line, and sometimes they do not. If they do not, you can still get up and get in line. We have seen kids do it and it is allowed- they just don't always announce it. Everyone that gets a picture gets a bookmark. It is considered the substitute for her signing the autograph books since she does not sign. I haven't really seen adults jump in to get photos- I don't know what they would do with that. Frankly, we are not fans of the whole process, and wish Belle was available in her gold dress somewhere else in the parks for a traditional meet and greet, other than requiring an Akershus ADR. The first time or two ETWB was fun, and seeing the special effects was great, but after that DD just started getting annoyed that the only way to get a photo with gold dress Belle was to sit through the whole thing and she has never been happy that it is a very rushed quick photo with no opportunity for an autograph or really even to have a short conversation with Belle other than pretty much the word "hello". We are also not fans of the fact that unless you are seated in the right place, you can't get up to take your own photo so you are stuck with whatever photopass takes- and we have only had one time that the photopass photos turned out really good (DD was the beast and in addition to the cute photos during the show, they made sure to go slow enough to get a great one of her at the front of the line after). We have been there when CMs specifically instructed parents to stay seated and not get up to take their own pictures. We also had one session where photopass lost ALL the photos from the entire session. DD was just a dish or something that time- but I felt really bad for the parents of the kid who played the Beast or others that this might have been a one time Belle photo op or experience.
