I'm on the fence as to whether or not attend this attraction on our upcoming trip. My girls are 7 & 11 and love everything Disney. They like Belle, but aren't die hard fans (like most others, they're Frozen obsessed right now). They always enjoyed this little skit when it was performed in the castle's garden area outside, but I'm afraid now that they're older they'll think it's too kiddy. I know I won't really know until we go and see for ourselves, but wanted to hear what others thought of it. If it wasn't such a long attraction, I don't think I'd care as much. Thanks!

Well I'm 31 and I loved it! It's such a small, intimate group and she is literally right in front of you. It was well with our time and I have boys that could care less about princesses. They had a ball!

We do it after 9pm when the waits get very short and we've already coverd most of our must-do's. at 7 & 11 it's probably not worth a Fastpass

we're in our 60's with no kids or grandkids and we really enjoy it. There are a couple of very cool special effects (door into Belle's library and Lumiere) which we think are worth seeing in addition to the show.

It is very much worth doing at least once for all ages. It has some very unique things: The father's shop is very nice with lots of cool stuff. The mirror that magically grows and turns into a door is not to be missed! It is awesome and after several visits I still don't know how they do it. The animatronics are worth a visit themselves. The cupboard has the new flexible material and when she moves and talks, it is very well done. Looks real. Also, inside with Belle, is Lumiere on the mantle. He moves and talks and looks great. The show is nice and you can get a picture with Belle, but the highlight to me is the whole experience and the extras.

Oh I bet they would enjoy it. We all loved it, even my husband who got picked to play a castle guard. So fun.

DH & I are empty-nesters. We did it last year and plan to do it again this year. We loved it. I think your children will enjoy it - I would definitely suggest you give it at try!

I've never done this. I'm thinking now I will try it, even though we will be two adults with no kids. It looks great!

I'd do it just to watch the mirror turn into a door when you enter. I still can't figure out how they did that. It's absolutely worth doing at least once. It's fun and adorable and they can be a part of the show. It's a great picture opportunity too. It's so well done.

I think everyone should do it once. Now that I've done it once, I won't go out of my way to do it again, but I did enjoy it. It's really cute and come of the effects in there are awesome and unlike the other things you see in the parks. I say go for it.

My feeling is that A&E and SDMT are the best uses of FP+ (if you want to do those things) because the potential standby wait times are so so so so long. If your girls have a 3rd ride that is a 'must-do" and that is also a long line, then maybe pick that and hope for Belle as a 4th/rolling FP+. Note that when BTMRR went down on us (it ended up being closed almost all day), we were offered the ability to ride almost anything except ETw/Belle. Even the super FP+s we got for doing a DVC *excluded* ETw/Belle. Soooooo, if your girls do not have a
"must do" third ride, take Belle as your 3rd FP+. There are a few lovely effects in the attraction, every kid gets a photopass photo taken with Belle, and you get to watch a bunch of cute kids be in the show. If your girls are good with kids, they might have fun watching (if they're "too cool" to participate). If they do participate, it is a lot of fun and you will get lovely pictures of them with Belle.

Enjoy your trip!

We really enjoyed the show. MY DD12 was able to play beast (and laughed the whole way through it) and DS 7 was a fork or something. They had a good time.

My favorite parts are not only the show, but being able to see Belle's home. Her age is never really released in the movie, but it has her height marked off at different ages - up to age 18. A picture of Belle and her mother are there. When the wall opens up - that is pretty neat as well.

The Lumiere special effects during the show are great! And honestly, after the show I LOVED seeing all the little boys and girls going up to hug Belle and get their souvenir (a bookmark). They get so excited.

When we went in April, there was a family of daughters there - ranging from HS graduation to 2 preschoolers. I think about 5 sisters total. The older girl helped shepherd her sisters around during the show, and sent all her sisters ahead of her for pictures.

When it was finally her turn for a picture and hug from Belle, the older girl stopped before her picture with Belle and asked if she could have her sisters in the picture with her instead of an individual one, because this was her last big trip with her family before HS graduation. Instead the photopass photographer and Belle did an individual one for her, and then quickly took some pictures of her with her all her sisters, then a picture with Belle and the entire family. And they did it fast. It was nice to see some 'pixie dust' in action. I usually don't pay attention to other families on vacation, but I got a little teary. The way it went down was super sweet, especially seeing the little preschool girls (probably twins) clinging and hugging onto their sister's legs and smiling. I also thought it was sweet because at first I thought the oldest girl was avoiding Belle by sending all the other girls up first! Ha!

It was so fun! My dd (2) was a little too shy for a part but my ds(7) was maurice and we also were able to have dd have pictures with belle after! She was so happy!

How long is the actual experience? I'm trying to determine if I need to jockey some of my fastpass times around. Thanks!

I did have this fastpassed but decided to change it to Peter Pan. We are going to try to do ETWB after the fireworks. Hopefully everyone will clear out :rotfl:

Figure about 20-25 minutes from when you are taken into the first room in Maurice's Cottage.
