Enchanted Tales with Belle as Meet and Greet?

We booked an appt at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in MK, where my 3 year old daughter really wants to dress up as Belle and then meet her afterwards. We are planning to go to Enchanted Tales with Belle afterwards to meet her and get a photo with Belle. However, now I am reading that this isn’t a traditional meet and greet and Belle won’t spend more than a few seconds with the child and that I might not even be able to take my own photo because Cast Members won’t let you get up from your seats? What have been your experiences? Will this be a let down for my little girl so excited to dress as and meet her idol Belle? Would it be a “waste” of getting all dressed up as Belle at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? I heard Belle is no longer at Cinderella’s Royal Table anymore either.

They do let you take pictures at the end, as long as your child is one of the participants in the show. They usually have parts for all the kids and when I went (no kids), there were spots for 3 adults (because there weren't enough kids).

The "problem" that there might be of her dressed up as Belle is what part she would play. When I went, all the kids were dressed in their normal clothes, got picked to play Beast and a lot of the animated characters (except Lumiere) and then any extra kids got to play dishes, etc.

It's definitely not a very long m&g, but after the story is over each child does get a photo with Belle. My husband stood behind the PhotoPass CM and took a photo, too, not sure if he was supposed to. If your child gets chosen to be in the story, it's actually way more fun than a traditional meet and greet.

Belle wasn't at CRT when we were there in the fall, but she was at Akershus. You can also meet her in France at Epcot typically in her blue dress.

Belle is at CRT....as of 2 weeks ago, but you're right in that ETWB is not a meet and greet...it's an experience whereby Belle and the children present would re-enact some of the BATB story. Belle meets in EPCOT in a typical meet & greet line and at Akershus Restaurant in Norway. Like I said, she was also at CRT 2 weeks ago. Whether or not your daughter would be "let down" by what experiences are available can only be assessed by you. Whether or not any experience is "worth it" for you or your family, again is yours to decide. LOTS of little girls dress up as their favorite princess, meet them for a short time and are thrilled.

Thank you! I had read online that the Cast Members make you stay seated, so if you don’t have a good seat, then you can’t get your own photo. But it sounds like they let you get up to take a photo of your own?

We’ve done this experience twice, the most recent time was in Sept. 2016 (so maybe things have changed??). Both times, after all of the participants had gotten their photo taken with Belle, anyone else in the audience who wanted a photo could go up and get one with Belle. Almost every child in the audience got their individual photo taken as well as many adults, myself included. They did hurry us through but we were able to use our own cameras/phones to take our own photos. Other than Belle saying “hello” and smiling, there isn’t much interaction with her. — Know ahead of time, the lighting really isn’t that great for photos in this room. Both my photos and the photos taken by the Photopass person are a bit darker than I’d like.

At our show, a girl was dressed like Belle in her gown and clearly knew what to expect because she blew everyone else away with her roar. She was picked to be the Beast and had a lot of interaction with Belle, including dancing.

That might be tough for a 3 year old though as this girl was older.

This matches all of our experiences with this event! And I do expect a Belle lover to get a little extra love.. But we do love it!! My kids have watched, been extras, and been real roles in the show. In all cases you get to meet Belle - but I highly recommend she atleast try to be an extra because it’s fun to dance around the room!

Have fun!! I think you also get a bookmark too!

Belle is at crt now? We were just there at the beginning of March and she wasn’t there.

Going from memory which could be fuzzy here, but when we’ve done this I thought everyone can have their picture with Belle at the end, regardless of if you have a “part” in the scene.
You are correct. There is always a chance for anyone who was not in the show to get photo taken too

And you are never and have never been required to remain seated. No idea why OP would have found someone said otherwise

While the princess always vary meal to meal it had to have been a very unusual situation for Belle to be at CRT. They likely had a dire emergency with a shortage and no other princess to fill in. She is not in the regular princess rotation any longer.

I did this with my daughter two weeks ago. Lots of girls in Belle dresses playing a variety of roles (including the beast)
My daughters heart was set on being Chip. It took 2 rounds of the show but she got the part.
There was time for big hugs and pics at the end.
My daughter also did a dance around the room with Belle and the rest of the cast.
As a 5 year old Belle fan, it was a true highlight for my daughter.....and me!!

Was the highlight of our last trip -- as far as the photo op- each time we've gone, the CMs, if asked, will let any child take a picture with Belle - this time was my DS fave - got to dance with his princess

We did Enchanted Tales with Belle in March. My daughter is pretty shy and did not want a part in the story telling. But as the storytelling was concluding and the pictures were about to begin, the photographer came and asked if my daughter wanted a picture with Belle too. (She did.) This was a later time slot (9:30pm I think) so there weren't a lot of kids in the audience that weren't a part of the story telling so I am not sure if this is what is traditionally done or not.

Yup

We were there in January, and the cast member was quite clear that we were not to get up and take pictures. The photographer took them, and we were all given plastic cards at the end with the pictures loaded. What I did instead, from my seat, was to zoom in the best I could and take a video of her meeting Belle. I used a still from that as a picture.

Thank you so much everyone for your help!!! I think my biggest worry is that they might not let you take your own photo. I would hate to go all out at BBB before and have her dress as Belle and then not even be able to take my own photo or video from a good position. It seems like some (most?) of you were able to and some were not allowed!!

I hoped this was the case (and maybe it usually is?) but I have read a few reviews online, including one reply here, who said this happened in January... where the cast members require you to stay in your seats and will not allow you to get up to take a photo of your child.

I have been many times and never had a CM say that. I would have ignored the CM myself. There is no reason at all to forbid photos. Not everyone buys MM
