Enchanted call never came ** UPDATE **

I ordered an enchanted call for my DS today for being the Star Student of the week at preschool. It was supposed to come at 6:30 but it never came. Has anyone else had this problem??? How did you handle it???
 
Oh Gosh. I have one sceduled for a friend's B-day tonight and one for my DD B-day Wed. Let me know what happens!
 
I have used this service once before and that call came right on time. I am sorry this happened to you.
 
I'm so sorry!!! Have you checked your e-mail? I have used this service several times, and they always send an immediate e-mail to confirm, and then they follow it up with a reminder. If you didn't receive these e-mails, it must not have gone through. Good Luck!!!!!! :goodvibes
 

They were amazing in the way they handled it!!!! I e-mailed them to tell them we didn't get the call. They are refunding the money and sent me a coupon for a free call. We reordered and used the cell phone and it worked perfectly. Then we had to call the entire phone book to tell them Mickey had called. :rotfl:

They get a GIANT :thumbsup2 from me
 
My wife knows i Like chip and Dale but couldn't get a call scheduled from them for me. Guess it would sound wierd for an old fart to get a phone call but we both refuse to completely grow up. Makes life interesting.

Could you tell me how to arrange one of these calls? We're going in December and I'd
love to have Mickey call my girls(21 & 25!) the day before to get them even MORE
excited!
 
We leave for Disney Sunday morning so I just scheduled the call to come Saturday to say GOOD NIGHT! FUN FUN FUN! :cool1: :banana:
 
Does the child have to answer the phone or will they ask for them by name?
I was thinking of having it sent to my sisters cell phone while her and my daughter are shopping. They go birthday shopping every year and I thought it would be a cute surprise. But my sister would answer the phone. Thanks for the help. :confused3
 
We are planning on doing this with our DD4 on Sat before we leave for WDW. I just wish they had a going on a WDW trip option instead of a general going on a trip message. (We're going to do Ariel!) We are going to do the call immediately option so that we can get it on video. :goodvibes
Anyway, from what I understand, you are prompted to hit "1" and then the message plays. We're going to do it on speaker phone.
I'd love to hear some more about it.
 
Sconnell is right. You answer the phone and it says something like you are received a call from Disney's Enchanted or something like that. You hit 1 and the character comes on within a few seconds. I will warn you it won't work on a phone with call waiting, answering machine, called id. Our first one failed and we had to resend it to a cell phone, that worked perfect. And we got ours on video too. Put the phone on speaker too so you get the phone call too.
 
Hmm, I hadn't heard that about the phones with caller ID. I guess I'll just have to hope for good service on my cell. :confused3

My home phones and my cell phone has call waiting and caller ID was well. Do you think it will still work on the cell phone? Let's hope so.

ok I have two calls scheduled for tonight and now I am wondering if they wont work b/c I got them to our house phone which obviously has call waiting and caller ID. If no one is on the phone it will ring right???
 
Ours didn't Christie. The instructions say turn all of that stuff off when expecting the call.
 
OK I know how to turn off the answering machine but the caller ID is just a phone company feature...no clue how to turn that off :( now I am concerned
 
I didn't know how to turn it off either. Can you switch it to come in on a cell phone?? That's what we did and it worked fine. Our problem could have been with the Privacy Director too. You know where people have to identify themselves if they want the call to go through to your phone.
 
I don't think it is so much the caller id etc, but like some one said - the Privacy Director. It's a 866 number that will appear on the caller id.


One thing I almost goofed - was that I forgot to select the time zone - I selected 3:30 PM - and when I was checking out I realilzed it was PST.... so I went in and updated it!

I scheduled one for this afternoon for DD - we are on the way to MNSSHP after school, and this week she has been workng very hard on eating better and moving more (we boh are....) so I wanted to make the car ride a little exciting and encourage her!

She will get a kick out of it---- her cell phone does not ring very often (note to self - remember to bring HER cell phone!)
