It was so nice to read all your answers to everyone's questions!
I cannot think of anything to add...
Doing this at work is such a distraction!
I used to live in Ohio and Pennsylvania and I loved the changing seasons up there! I am def not a snow person though... great to visit, not to live.
I wish you good luck in your writing career! I hope to see you at a book signing sometime!
I have a couple children's stories I have been working on for a few years now.
I have also been on a search for some new books to read! I love to read, but only if it is a good book. I suppose thats everyone tho right?
I will def look into Sarah Dessen. Thanks for the recommendation!
I can't wait to read everyone else's answers! It is very fun getting to know fellow DisFriends.
Hey, Tarah! I agree, the changing seasons are so pretty, but the snow is just awful. It's sad because I used to LOVE snow, but that was before I was of driving age. Digging out your car in the freezing cold? Not so much fun. Thus, why I yearn for spring and tropical temps.
Thanks for the good luck wishes! Good luck in your own writing ventures as well! If you enjoy good "coming of age" stories, you'll definitely love Sarah Dessen's work. She has a great down-to-earth sense of humor and she writes some of the quirkiest, coolest characters. I think you'll love her!
And feel free to ask me your own questions, if you like! I don't want anyone to feel left out!
Yep, I'm talking about the lights in the trees!
My favorite Hidden Mickey...Okay I'll try and explain this as good as possible haha: So you're in line at Peter Pan..you are almost to the loading area, but not quite. There are trees on your left..Look close in one of the tree trunks: Hidden Mickey! It's my favorite because it was my first one I ever found.
Haha...Shia is HOT!
1)If I could only eat at one restaurant for the rest of my trips...I know I'm a minority, but it'd have to be Tony's! I love everything about the place. And we always end our trips there so it holds a special place in our hearts. Plus---it's at my favorite park!
2)We are still talking about taking the little guy! Sis wants to stay at the Contemporary villas when they are done, so hopefully those will be done by the time we go next year! If we go, it'll be: mom, dad, sis, me, B/F, grandma, grandpa, uncle, little guy, and little guy's stepbrother! Crazy! So..we were thinking a villa would be the best way to go. We want the little guy to have room to run around..Plus we love eating breakfast in the room before we leave..Mom always makes the best stuff! We're already talking about all the fun things he'll love like Playhouse Disney, meeting Lighting McQueen and Mator, both the Nemo ride and show, maybe the H&V breakfast with LIttle Einsteins, Pooh Bear...Oh I'm so excited to take him! We're just hoping he likes the characters!

Don't want him to get scared!
3)I'll be graduating with my Bachelor's in December!

So I don't know what the plans will be for that exactly. I'm hoping I get something huge for my present!

Then, it'll be on to my Master's because I know if I took a break, it'd be so hard for me to go back and get in the swing of things.
Thanks for the hidden Mickey tip, girl! That'll be a great one to show Mom because Peter Pan is her favorite ride!
I've had a crush on Shia since his "Even Stevens" days and thought he was just adorable, but yeah, when Transformers came out, it was like, "WHOA! Shia got HOT!" Hahaha!
1) We still haven't been to Tonys, but Mom is dying to go because "Lady and the Tramp" is one of her favorites. We thought about it for this trip, but it didn't work out with our plans. Maybe next trip, though! That's so cool that you always end your trips there. It seems like it would be a nice cozy place to make your last night magical, especially since its inside the MK.
2) Oh, I hope all your plans work out because that trip sounds like a blast! That's so cool that your grandparents, uncle, and the little guy's stepbrother would also get to go. Staying at the Contemporary Villas would be sooooo awesome so I hope you get to stay there! And hopefully the little guy won't be scared of characters! I bet hell love getting to meet all of them. Id love to go with someone his age just to get to see WDW through a childs eyes.
3) Yay for graduating!!! I took a year and a half off after high school to find myself, (Haha, Im such a wannabe bohemian artist!

) and I take the minimum amount of credit hours each quarter to be considered full time, so Im still a loooooong ways off from getting my Bachelors. Go you for being so close! I hope you get an awesome present for all of your hard work! Youre majoring in Sociology, right? I think thats such an interesting field. Its one of the few majors that has tempted me to switch my focus away from Lit/English. Good luck in pursuing your Masters! Now THAT'S dedication!
LOL I love the duck story... and I also love Sarah Dessen! The first book I read by her was Someone Like You so it is still my favourite. Ugh I did NOT like the movie though!

I've read all her books!
Okay, now to answer your questions:
1. Oh my goodness, so many! Well I think I would have to say dancing in the Nutcracker. My ballet school put it on every year and we performed it for the local schools as well as public performances. It was just so much fun and it always got me into the Christmas spirit. I have so many fun memories of it. Over the years I danced a whole bunch of roles so I don't know if I could pick a favourite... I still have the DVDs from most of the performances and I love watching them. I miss it so much, it's crazy.
2. Thanks!

I had a really difficult year last year and a lot of it left me questioning my faith. I spent a lot of timing thinking about faith and what it was and what it meant and why it was important. One day I came across that verse, I had written it down in a journal a few years ago but had forgotten about it. I think it is so comforting and hopeful. I think it does a beautiful job of summing up what faith is, and my faith is so important to me. The verse is as nice reminder to me that even when things are tough and it is so hard to believe, especially something that I can't see and sometimes don't understand, faith can still be there. I don't know, I don't feel like I'm doing a good job of explaining it, but I just really love it.
3. Oh boy, this is a tough one! Let's see. I think it might be Splash Mountain. My mom and I both love that ride and I have the soundtrack to it on my iPod. I love how long the ride is and I think it is such a creative idea. I always have a smile on my face when I'm getting off, no matter how wet I am.

I have to give honorable mentions to Soarin, the TTA, Kilimanjaro Safaris and Space Mountain though!! Oh, and the Carousel of Progress!
Hey, Meg! I totally forgot about "Someone Like You"! You're right, that's a great book too. I love how the guy in that one uses the Jedi Mind Trick on everyone.

Hahaha! The movie was terrible though, and I'm a huge Mandy Moore fan so that's saying something...
1. Ooooh, I loved The Nutcracker when I was growing up!!! My mom and I went to see it put on by the Cincinnati Ballet several times when I was in grade school, and I loved it! My school never did it, but the teachers always announced when other local productions were casting so that kids could try out if they were interested. Unfortunately, I never had a chance to try out. I bet you had a blast though! What parts did you get to play?
2. Thanks so much for sharing, Meg! Id never heard this verse until I saw it in your signature, and it has become one of my favorites ever since. Im a Christian as well, and I can understand where youre coming from about the questioning of your faith. For me, it was less about questioning God and more about questioning the church and some of the rules of religion. I think that its only natural though, especially at our age. For me, it just makes your renewed faith even more meaningful because youre choosing to believe in something that caused you doubt rather than something that youve never thought to question. It's like you're taking a larger leap of faith, you know what I mean?
3. I know, its so hard to pick a favorite! Splash Mountain is definitely one of my favs. Like you, I love the soundtrack and the ride itself always puts a smile on my face. Plus, I just love the amazing detail inside the mountain. Im also sentimentally attached to it because my grandmother (Maw Maw) died when I was nine before anyone from my family got to go to WDW with her. Maw Maw, however, went with Aunt C a couple of times before she died, and she said that Splash was her favorite ride. Theres a part where youre really high up and you curve around the front of the mountain and overlook the MK, and Laughing Place is playing. That part, to me, really captures Maw Maws spirit, and theres just something about it that makes me feel like shes right there with me, laughing and smiling and singing along. I like to think that when I see Maw Maw in heaven, well get our chance to ride Splash together over and over and over again.
