Please tell me if those sandals you got for your Belle dress are comfortable if you try them out before your trip! I saw them tonight (haha, us talking about American Eagle this morning made me go there tonight!)..I got two shirts..and a pair of army lookin' shorts.

I'll definitely take them for a "test run" and let you know.

ONE WEEK UNTIL DEPARTURE DAY!!!! ONLY SEVEN MORE DAYS!!!!

I’m sorry I haven’t updated in so long. This week is basically my finals week (I have a couple tests early next week that are due, and then I’m FREE!!!) so I’ve been hitting the books hard, cranking out papers like nobody’s business. Here’s a rundown of some exciting things that have happened since the last update, some of which I will talk about (and show pictures of!) in a future update!

* I finally bought my VB bag, and it arrived in the mail today! I actually ended up changing my mind about the Mediterranean White pattern because I was afraid I would get it dirty too fast. I have an old white Coach bag that I got at the Orlando outlet for only $70, and it’s got its fair share of dirt marks and stains. So I went with the Purple Punch pattern for my VB, and it is SO adorable. I love it! I can’t wait to show you guys some pictures!!!

* I’ve been meaning to tell you guys that I got a sample for perfume called “Sugar” by Aquolina in an old Sephora makeup purchase, and when I finally used it this week, I discovered that it smells JUST. LIKE. MAIN STREET USA. OMG!!! It’s soooo crazy. I thought it would smell like vanilla or something, but dude, I swear it’s the same stuff they pump onto Main Street. I made my mom smell it, and she was like, “Oh my gosh, WHERE did you get that?” As soon as I have some extra money again I’m buying a full-size bottle.

* My Forever 21 finds are awesome! Only one of the four tops didn’t fit, but the rest are all perfect! Plus I got three headbands for under $10! Two of them were only $1.50 each, and the other (which has fake feathers on it, and is GORGEOUS!!!) was only $4.80. F21 is the bomb! Pictures will be coming, I promise!

* Daylight Savings Time is awesome. An extra hour of daylight in the evenings always makes me feel so much better. For me it means that SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE!

* I've been preparing for commuting to class next quarter. Next week I'm going to do a couple test runs up there to figure out which routes I want to take and stuff. Plus, I'm going to clean my car out next week before we leave on the trip (Both because of school and because we're taking my car to Aunt C's house.). I also want to make a bunch of CDs for the car rides and get new car mats for the front seats. I have my mom's old Winnie the Pooh ones, and they're getting kind of old and worn out. I'm really excited about my classes, which are the Children's Lit and Sociology: Pop Culture classes that I told you about before.

* I have to take my brother to his driver's license appointment next Friday before we leave town. Do you think I'll get weird looks from people in the waiting room if I take a Disney coloring book with me to pass the time?

* And last, but DEFINITELY not least! We might be arriving in WDW a day early! Aunt C says she game with us leaving her house and driving until we get tired on Friday, staying in a hotel overnight, and then driving the rest of the way to Disney on Saturday! This would give us all day Sunday and perhaps part of the day Saturday! We figure that if the Top Secret Resort doesn’t have a room for us, we’ll just bunk anywhere Disney has an opening and then have them move us on Sunday.


So there you have it! Some updates on what's been going on with me since the last update. Right now I have to go finish a research paper on Georgia O'Keeffe, my last assignment for my women's art class! I finished my lit class earlier today. Ironically, despite my English major and my love of books, I HATED that class this quarter. The teacher was terrible, not giving enough information on how she wanted assignments completed and grading things weirdly. I'm SO glad it's over! So anyway, I'm off! I'll try to drop in again sometime this weekend, hopefully with some pictures to share!

Sephora is one of my happy places. I haven't bought the full-sized Pink Sugar yet, but I plan to sometime after we get back from Disney. Right now all my money is going towards out trip.

I personally love F21's website better than their stores. They add new stuff every day and just have a wider selection than the stores do. Plus, the one in our local mall never has ANYTHING in my size.

I go to a local community college right now because it has some of the cheapest tuition in the state, and my goal is to graduate debt-free. I don't think I should say the name of it because it's so small creepy lurking stalkers could probably find me pretty easily. Haha, yes I'm paranoid, why do you ask?

I know, I can't believe our trip is SO CLOSE. Time has really flown by!

I my new VB. I actually haven't carried it yet because I didn't want to get it dirty or anything until our trip. I may break it in sometime this week before we leave though. Probably while shopping for the travel necessitites needed for the trip.

I'm so excited about Disney coloring, you have no idea! My mom (who also likes to color) found me a WDW coloring book that she had never used so I'm taking it with me. I'll probably post a pic of it in the next update.

You're right about Daylight Savings and the dark mornings. That doesn't always make me happy. On the other hand, it is kind of cool to see sunrise, which, I'll admit I don't always see in the winter.

I told my brother that I was thinking of taking my coloring book, and you should have seen his face! It was something like this:

Speaking of stuff smelling like Main Street, there are these candles that are made here locally and my B/F's mom had one burning at her house and I walked in one time and my B/F goes "Come here! You have to smell this candle! It smells just like Main Street!" I was so surprised to hear that coming from him. He's not a big WDW freak like I am. And sure enough, it smelled like Main Street! So I told my mom and the next time that someone starts selling them, she's buying a ton of that scent!

JUST FOUR MORE DAYS UNTIL DEPARTURE DAY!!!!!!

Two of my classes are officially finished and the difficult research papers are behind me! I now only have an exam left in one class and my regular weekly coursework left in the other! I might be done by tomorrow afternoon sometime! Go me! Also, I work tonight and tomorrow night, but then I’m on vacation (With one week PAID! Oh yeah! ) until March 30th! That sound you hear is me happy dancing!

Thank you all for being so patient and sticking with me through this past week or so. I’ve been so busy, but I’ve been DYING to get back here and talk to you guys! So thankfully that day has finally come!

MY NEW VERA BRADLEY BAG!!!!

Isn’t it pretty? I just adore it. It’s all my favorite colors: purple, green, brown, pink, etc. I’m so glad I chose it for my first VB.

Just so you know, I decided to save the pictures of my F21 stuff for another update because a) Photobucket is being dumb right now and b) I’m running out of stuff to update about! So yeah, the F21 pics will be coming soon!

In the meantime, I'm planning on having a movie day on Thursday. I want to watch "Sleeping Beauty," "Peter Pan," "Cinderella (which I've never seen.... )," and some other "old school" favorites. You may or may not see some pics from movie day when some of my "old friends" stop by to watch with me.
