I was watching 'Encanto' again last night and I'm wondering - just how long did it take to rebuild the casita at the end of the movie?
The time lapse makes it seem like it only took an afternoon, and we know THAT can't be the case!
The problem is, the visual clues are contradictory. Agustin has bee stings at the beginning of the sequence, and since Julieta doesn't have her magic healing powers we have to assume his swelling went down naturally, so probably it took about a week.
And of course it takes time to build a house, so logically it probably took about a month maybe.
BUT - towards the end of the sequence we see Mariano and he STILL has a bandage on his nose. How can his nose still need a bandage after a month? Doesn't make sense.
I think this is one of those questions where the answer is, "Take it easy, kid, it's only a movie!"
