Enabling: Gypsy Rebates

For those of you who are thinking about getting the Gypsy, Provo Craft is giving some great incentives if you buy and register by 10/31 from Micheal's (purchases from HSN do not apply). You get 800 rewards points, 2 solutions carts (there is a list that you can choose from), and a voucher for $100 credit on Cricut.com. I could not believe all the "goodies". I was especially excited with the solutions carts because Christmas was on the list and I have wanted that cart forever!

Congrats! Mine came home yesterday too! I played with it last night some and made some practice cuts. I think I am in love! I was hoping to give mine a girl name, but just like all things in the house (DH, DS, and the dog) it think my G is a boy. He does what I tell him with no complaints or drama...sounds like the other males in the house to me! Some people over on the Cricut board have had problems with theirs not cutting right or loading...I have decided that their machines are girls...hence all the drama!

All I did was get it registered last night and signed up for all my rebates. Now the fun begins. I am going away for the weekend. I have a few swaps do. I am hoping to get all the cuts laid out on the gypsy and cut them when I get home on Sunday.

There is a lot of drama on the cricut boards. Trying to stay out of that business.

DH was the same way with me! He actually wanted me to buy it. I took his temp to make sure he was feeling okay.

Glad to hear my DH wasn't the only one that thought it was a good idea for me to get it. I'm a little bummed though that I got it through HSN now ... that's quite a deal!

I scrapped with my SIL today and I LOVE my gypsy. It is so easy to switch between carts, and move things around.

With the HSN you get a full cart, a carrying case, and an extended warranty. You also have the opportunity to open it, play with it and return it if you do not like it.

With M's you get the Gypsy (which is $279 this week), 2 solutions carts, a $100 credit to the Provocraft website, and 800 rewards points. However you do not get the extended warranty, you have to buy it outright (no payment plan), and once you open it there is no returning.

If you are sure that you want it and will use it, I would go with the M's deal. For me it was a much better deal. If you are concerned about not having a carrying case (the machine does come with a little fabric sleeve) Target has a hard sided zippered pencil box for $2.50 that holds the G perfectly.

The rebates are online. You fill out the forms and then mail your receipt and bar code from the box in. If you have anymore questions ask away. My G is almost a week old and so far so good. I used it on about 6 layouts this weekend and it is great!

Yay! You will have fun! It made taking my stuff to a crop this weekend super easy too because I did not have to pack up all my carts.
