Empty Parks in April

I'm surprised you have the 14th-18th off. Here in MA, our school vacation is tied to Patriot's day so our break is April 21st through 25th. I've been several times the 3rd week of April and not only are there a lot of people from the Northeast, there are a lot of people from England as well. Definitely a pretty busy week.

I am in MA Also. we are going to Pull DS out of Kindergarten and go April 16th to the 23rd. I have heard that Senior nights/week whatever it's called will be going on the same time (at least half the time)

We were there last year 4/24-5/1 and it was PERFECT the weather was GORGEOUS low 80's and not 1 drop of rain the entire week the crowds were moderate but we stayed ahead of them. I agree witht he PP who said that the further into April you get the better. This will be our 4th trip in April during the same week and I will take April ANYDAY over the crowds and humidity of the summer and Sept.(free dining) Get to rope drop and you will have no trouble. I was able to get ADR's yesterday for restaurants during that week and I could still choose my time:confused3 I think that bodes well for the crowd level! As for Grad nights they do not affect anything at WDW except the Magic Kingdom! MK will close at 7:00 and those graduationg seniors will be bussed into the MK and that is the ONLY place they will go and then they will be bussed out. :goodvibes

Our spring break is from Easter Sunday through the following Sunday (3/23 to 3/30). I assumed most people had the same schedule but am now realizing that spring breaks seem to be spread out. I feel a little better right now, but also realize that Easter is going to be busy at Disney regardless of the spring break situation.

Last year we went for Easter(mid-April). It was busy and Easter Sunday was so cold! By the end of the week it was hot. Crazy weather.

Thanks everyone, I am thinking of changing and going May 8 instead of April. any thoughts on that week?
