This is mostly for us mom's or dad's, I'm not picky, who just left their last child at college. Or, it could be your last child going to kindegarden.

One, two, three...........cry!:(

It will be ok, it feels good to cry, releases the emotions.

Or am I wrong here, are their people doing the Happy Dance:Pinkbounc

My "baby", all 6'1" of him, leaves for Penn State on Thursday. His brother has been back in Kentucky for two weeks.

I truly miss them and this house will seem so huge when they're gone. BUT as a single mom for the last two years, and the major disciplinarian, curfew watcher, "breathalizer" and worrier, I really do think that when I get home on Sunday, a part of me is going to breathe a big sigh of relief. Why? Because I've raised two wonderful young men and nothing majorly bad happened "on my watch" (that their Dad could blame me for). Don't get me wrong -- I love my sons, but co-parenting really, truly doesn't work. Especially when the other parent is only involved for about one dinner a week.

So, I can clean up the den and it will stay that way! I can have cereal for supper if that's all I want. And finally, I can get that shotput out of my livingroom!

Hugs to all,
Edie
