Emporer's New Groove Characters?

It just occurred to me after looking thru photos of our past trips, including one just this past March, that we have never seen a character from The Emporer's New Groove at any of the parks.

This is one of my favorite movies, we watch the DVD often and love to quote lines from the movie such as "was she scary beyond all reason?" and "A llama? He's supposed to be dead!", "Yeah, weird".

Has anyone ever seen any ENG characters? I would love to get a photo with Kronk or Ysma!

Try searching this board. Someone had a very amusing thread on this a few months/weeks ago. There are a lot of Emperor's New Groove fans out there. As far as I know, there are not characters out there to meet.

At my house, we always wonder "Why do we even have that lever?"

We were just commenting the other week how we never see characters from the Emporer's New Groove. That movie was hilarious!

In Feb. of 02 we saw & took pictures with the llama - I'm drawing a blank on his name - at MGM!

Kuzko (in llama form) and Kronk appear on rare occasions near the Sorcerer's Hat at MGM. Yzma unfortunatly doesn't make appearences in the parks right now. TENG is another of my favorites and I also wish they had more in the parks as well.

The llama's (and Emporer's) name is Kuzko. I am going to have to search out the characters on our next trip.

I can walk up to my dd and say "Squeak, squeaker, squeak, squeaken!" and she will reply " I do NOT owe you a new acorn!"

I also love the line "you should have thought of that before you became peasants!"

I have so many favorite parts : where Kronk talks to the squirrel when he and Ysma are searching for Kuzko, the restaurant scene where Kuzko dresses up as Pasha's wife and Kronk becomes the short order cook and the dinner scene where Kuzko is poisoned in the first place.

This movie is always my choice when we vote on what DVD to watch!

Kuzko is a favorite of ours too. We saw him in May of 2001 at MGM ... close to the entrance.

We are not big character meet and greeters, but he is a favorite and so I asked the kids to pose with him for a picture. Just as I snaped the pic, he "spit" a stream of water over their heads. GREAT picture .... fun character!

i love the emperor's new groove!I think it's one of the funniest movies disney has ever made.Kronk is so funny. The actor who does his voice was on seinfeld and played elaine's boyfriend puddy. he was hilarious on that too.Hope to see these characters when we go to disney next weekend.

While riding any of the roller coasters, I will scream with my kids "Ysma! Put your hands in the air!" Don't know if anyone around us understands where that comes from!
