Emotional Rollercoaster....

We were planning another trip to WDW in Oct 2004 and had reservations at SOG. Have been watching the site daily to see "my" new resort taking shape. However, Uncle Sam has other plans and on April 30th we found out that my husband is being deployed with the National Guard again for 12-18 mos as of the first week in June 2004. (he just got back Sept 03) What do you do? You move up your vacation of course!

We are now set to arrive May 19th at POFQ using our AP discount the rates are actually about the same as SOG. We are very excited to be in the world next week... though for me this is bittersweet. So happy to be at the happiest place on earth but knowing all to soon it will be over and DH will be leaving. But if there is any place on earth that will allow us to enjoy being together as a family and forget even for a few hours about the impending seperation it's WDW!

I have been scouring the board for POFQ information and am hoping that we enjoy it. We stayed at the Contemporary in Oct 2003. I know that the kids are looking forward to the pool!

We will have our lime green on Hope to see some of you there... I know our dates fall on the same dates as some others on the boards. 5/19 - 5/27

Enjoy that precious time together as family. Take lots of pictures and just cherish every moment that you are with him. Sorry that he has to be deployed again. The Lord is with him. Sending you some pixie dust. Just hang in there, for the mean time.. Have a great time at WDW!!

Enjoy your time together as much as possible. Don't stress over the the little stuff. Take lots of wonderful pictures. May God bless you and your family. Thank your husband for me. I am so grateful to him and all of the other soldiers.
