Okay, I'm not happy.

Not only is "Lost" shut out, but so is "Prison Break." Robert Knepper/T-Bag wasn't nominated???? Oh, that is so wrong.

Copy that! Robert Knepper and several of the others on that show should most definitely been nominated as should the show itself. So typical of the Emmys though. You have to have a PC show to get anywhere or be an inner circle actor.

Umm, I just noticed that Hugh Laurie wasn't nominated for House. DW MeanLaureen won't be happy about that one. Would someone tell her for me? Thanks. ::hiding::

The only good news was that Jean Smart who played President Logan's wife on 24 got the nod. For that matter so did the man who played President Logan.

I'm voting for 24 to sweep its categories.

WooHoo! I'm so glad Craig Ferguson got an Emmy Nomination for his TV tribute to his dad, who had died the day before. Anyone who had seen it knows how absolutely heartfelt, touching & loving his monologue was that nite.

The noominations for comedy show just how poor the competition is in this category. When I read the comedy nominations I thought "They must be kidding". I do not think any of the comedy shows nominated are very good. They are all too quirky and trying too hard to be different. Most of all, they just are not funny. Are any of these shows in the top of the ratings? (Maybe Two and a Half Men).

The critics love Scrubs and Arrested Development but I think they stink. Neither show has any likeable, relatable character. Result, people don't watch.

Now don't tell me that the Emmy's are not about ratings. I do not necessarily watch what everyone else watches, but give me a break with these. They are barely watchable. As for the ommission of Desparate Housewives, I agree it wasn't as good as last year, but it was a LOT better than some of these.

Stockard Channing is a great actress but the show she was in was horrible and has fortunately has been canceled. Same for Lisa Kudrow. Come on, just because they are good in other things doesn't mean they deserve a nomination for a show that stinks.

Also, I like Charlie Sheen, but how much acting is he really doing? He is just playing himself. Sorry, but I doubt I will be watching the Emmy's this year. JMHO Jay

*GASP* DH and I own every available season of Scrubs on DVD and we get them on the day they come out! (Then we watch them over and over till the new ones are out). So...I was thrilled to see them nominated.

Maybe you just don't get the humor in Scrubs and Arrested Development. I never found either "QUIRKY", but then maybe I am quirky.

The great thing about Scrubs is you get humor but you also get warm and fuzzy, thought provoking, and some sad.

I think all the comedy shows are brilliant and am totally rooting for The Office! I was hoping John Krasinski would get supporting actor nom...oh well.

I'm also rooting for 24 and anything The Colbert Report was nom'd for!
