EMM- what if it rains?

EMM planned for tomorrow. Rain in the forecast. With the main attraction (7DMT) closed during rain (I've heard), are there any contingency plans? Great if I've spent a small fortune for nothing!

I believe that's just a risk that you're taking when buying the tickets. The Disney site states "The number of Guests admitted to these events is limited. In addition, all reservations are non-refundable, non-transferrable and are only valid for admission during the special event date and hours." So you can't get a refund, but I do believe if it does rain and guests can't get on the ride, then they give everyone an anytime FP to ride later.

7dmt will still run in a light rain. It will close for lightning. And the chance you experience much rain, if any at all that early is very unlikely.

They can put in all the fine print they want. We all know that morning event is about 7DMT access. They know it too.

OP, if it's closed and they don't offer something (which I think they will) I'd head to guest services and let them take care of you.

Since this is booked like a dining reservation, I was able to cancel my booking online. I happened to do it a few days ahead of time but you could check if you have the option today.

Not saying they would do this but when we had Star Wars dessert party the show was rained out and they refunded our money (without me even asking or expecting it). Had it not been our last night they would have rescheduled us to see the show but a couple days after we were home they called and gave the refund even though we ate and drank well at the party.

They should do automatic refunds if 7DMT isn't running.

When we did it 7DMT was not running. It came up just as event was over. They gave us unlimited FP until noon. Of course that meant all our scheduled FP+ and plans would have to be changed. Decided to go on with our plans.

EMM MK is not one we will repeat. It was all about 7DMT, not even the breakfast was worth returning for. Now DHS was great, everything was indoors and food excellent. Would love to do this in the new lands!!

Well, we had great luck- rain held off til about 10:00 this morning! EMM was great- rode 7DMT at least 6 times, WTP, PP, and tea cups a couple times, and had a good late breakfast at PVH. We could've had a few more rides in if we were more disciplined about our approach. Easy entrance - took the boat from FW to the contemporary, then took a leisurely stroll over to MK.
