Who all will be at the Tuesday Nov 29 EMM?? We'll be there and it's a sell-out! Has it been sold out before? Does anyone know how many tickets they sell? We'll have a great time regardless, I'm just curious. Are there photopass photogs on Main Street that early?

Not sure about your EMM specific questions but yes there are photopass photographers out on that early to take pictures in front of the castle

Everyone has to be able to eat at Pinocchio Village Haus, so there are only a couple hundred tickets sold.

Do they all need to eat there at the same time? Just curious if that's really how they handle the capacity decision?

I think that during a busy holiday time - this is an excellent add-on option to really maximize time on a crowded day while also getting to be able to experience some magic of an empty park!! Enjoy!!

We had hoped to be at that EMM but it sold out before I could get our tickets. :sad1: We ended up adjusting our flight so we could go on 11/27 instead. I don't believe there has been a sold out EMM since the very early days when the bloggers were going so they could write reviews. I'll be anxious to hear how it was!

I thought the week after Thanksgiving was one of the lowest crowd weeks of the year. I read it in several Disney blogs. So it kind of surprises me that this has sold out already! Trying to decide when to go in 2017 ...

I think word has gotten out. We are going that week. Doing EMM on the 27th. They are offering free dining that week now too. I think the combo of press ( as you said, several blogs) for being a great week and free dining are going to make crowds notably higher than normal. We went last year this week and is was ok crowds wise but I anticipate more people this year.

I have tickets for 11/29. I didn't realize it had sold out. I am really nervous about potential crowds that week. Hopefully it will be manageable. Pushing a stroller through heavy crowds is no fun.

More or less, yes. They can't direct when people want to come eat so they'd have to go with a number that would allow everyone to eat at once, in case they did. While they may not use the exact number of guests it can hold they can't go over it drastically.

We went the week before Easter last year and were not totally overwhelmed by the crowds. Is it fairly safe to assume to crowds will no eclipse those levels the week after Thanksgiving? Hard to imagine it would, if for nothing less than less kids being out of school. I know free dining is a factor, but still...

I am not saying they will be anywhere near those levels, just more than they have been for that week in the past.

Couldn't EMM be selling out because it is now a better known commodity, with more reviews and information than people had in the summer? AND because it is only once/week instead of a couple of times, like in the summer?
I don't think "EMM Sold Out" means "Crazy park crowds."

EMM is 200 people max. I know this because we tried to get tickets for this day, 11/29, but there was only 1 ticket left at that time. It was at 199 people at that point. We got 11/27 instead. :)

We have EMM booked for 11/29 and I am a little bummed it has sold out. I am prepared for crowds during regular hours but not for the hour before the park opens, since this is why we splurged on it! Hoping we'll be pleasantly surprised.

If I am correct it is still twice a week. Sunday and Tuesday. We are going the Sunday before.

we also have dmm 11/29. The crowd situation in general has me nervous. Almost no availability room wise. Glad we are stay 10 days. knock stuff out at rope drop and take mid day break. Really looking forward to EMM on first full day there though.

I'm curious how you know it was at 199 when there was one opening left?

There are parties most evenings that week so it doesn't surprise me that it sold out. Those of us not attending are trying to figure out how to get more (uncrowded) time in MK. I didn't know there was EMM that day. We have a PPO reservation at CP that morning - I'm kind of bummed that we have competition for early touring! I'm also nervous that we were misguided in assuming low crowds this week.

It won't be crowded. Nothing to worry about in regards to EMM. Even sold out isn't crowded. Heck, they could double the number of tickets sold and it still wouldn't be crowded. But as long as they have the breakfast with it, they won't increase the numbers, can only feed so many guests
