OH my...I wonder how this will affect Jedi training sign Ups? We plan to visit on a Monday in late November and have a PPO ADR for H&V so we can get signed up for JTA.

Not nearly as valuable as the one at MK, IMHO. Maybe if RnRC and ToT were open it would be a different story. Lines for Star Tours aren't usually that long and Toy Story is much better now that the 3rd track is open. Olaf rarely has a line more than 15 min and meeting the other characters can be done easily during regular hours. I'm not seeing this being as successful as MK. I do agree with you that having one at Epcot for Frozen, Test Track and Soarin is probably in the works.

I'm wondering how this will affect sign-ups too!

My guess is it won't make a difference. I seriously can't see this catching on and it quite possibly won't even be around by the time your trip comes around.

Yes, this one at DHS does not seem that great of a value to me either!

Now there are EMM mornings scheduled for one of our MK days and our HS day. I know they are not supposed to affect RD crowds that much, but still it's something else being thrown out there late to have to figure out!

Anybody else just getting tired of the ever changing hours and all the extra fees for stuff? Just open the park when you said you would, when we poor suckers were trying to plan this 6 months-1 year-2 years-6 months ago, and stop charging extra for stuff that should be included, Disney.

Just. Stop.

Fire the little marketing "geniuses" you keep picking up at Wharton in hopes of wringing every last nickle out of the faithful, and get back to basics.

Fix the rides, build some new ones, and knock it off with the triple charging--before you have no faithful left. (The email memo I would send to Disney's CEO if I could.)

Next up: A rope drop premium hard ticket cost, with a Welcome Show viewing fee.

Honestly, we are considering moving to Universal after this next trip. Seems more reasonably priced and with loads of new attractions. And believe me, I never thought I would say that. It makes me kinda sad. But truly; enough is enough.

When is the last time DHS opened at 745am? Oh right, never
When was the last time Disney included a meal with a park ticket? Oh right, never

This is Disney monetizing hours of the day that won't be used otherwise. Opening the park early for the equivalent of a character breakfast with rides is not taking away anything from other people. How does this change Disney opening the parks? From the experiences at Magic Kingdom, it doesn't.

I just don't understand how people aren't getting that this is something new. It is not making guests pay for an existing experience. Disney has never offered 75 minutes early access to a Park plus breakfast for free to the first 500 in line.

I like the EMM's. To be able to knock a few must-do's off the list with lower crowds and a breakfast to boot! Yes, it's like a character breakfast on steroids, but certainly a better bang for my buck than, say, a mediocre breakfast at Chef Mickey's.

I would love an EP EMM. It would be great if they put two Tier 1's in, but it's highly unlikely. I could see them, however, doing two in EP. One with FEA and an A&E meet and greet and one with either TT or Soarin'. Given the tiering in EP, I think these would be very popular.

I like the idea, too. We're looking forward to eating big/character breakfasts anyway, so this would be an extra bonus. I'm hoping they continue the EMM for MK into December for our upcoming trip!

IF, only IF, DHS EMM is a hit, I would think that PPO ADR at H&V for JTA signup will not be as valuable. I am soooooooo glad that my DHS day plan will not be affected by these EMM. One less thing to worry about.

This will be an interesting development for our trip. Its to expensive and my cause us Jedi Training complications for our trip in September. I think it sounds more fun to ride Toy Story Mania over and over again than the rides in MK. I know my 2 boys and girl would love everything about this morning.

Its a little annoying both EMM for MK and DHS have been released after 180 days out. We have a BOG PPO breakfast that coincides with EMM in MK and now wed we will have to wait and see how this effects Jedi training.

Wow. Not unexpected but wow. I'm sure N Epcot one is coming, some sort of Frozen package.

I'd only add that you forgot to add the #BlameShanghai hashtag. :D Otherwise, agree 100% with your thoughts on the "Upcharge Era."

I have no interest in a DHS EMM. A TT and Soarin EMM I would seriously consider and I am not generally an upsell person (I'm not tempted by dessert parties, evening magic hours, holiday parties, etc). I wouldn't consider EMM for any other park. But the tiering at Ep would make it worth it since my fam would be happy to ride those rides more than once. But if even I see value, probably a lot of people would so it would probably be more expensive. At the current pricing it would be a huge chunk of cash for my family of 5.

I don't think these EMMs are currently affecting anyone who doesn't want to pay (and we RDed fantasyland on an EMM day). As long as they don't end up interfering with EMH they're a non issue for the most part. I get the frustration when upsell events affect those that can't or don't want to pay but if there's no impact it's a don't care for me.
