EMHs tied to resort stay?

Are the Extra Magic Hours available to all resort guests, regardless of the type of ticket? I am considering purchasing an AP ticket but have heard it doesn't cover EMH. But that's on its own, correct? If I'm staying on site I can access the parks early, using the AP, because I'm a resort guest, right?

Being a resort guest is what qualifies one for EMH, not type of ticket. Even APs do not get EMH.

short answer - yes if you are staying onsite you have access to EMH - regular ticket or AP doesn't matter.
