We haven't been back to WDW in a year and are in the midst of planning a trip for the first week of November. I just checked out the park hours since my adr date is coming up. There were much fewer EMH then usual, nothing in the evening at MK at all. :confused3 Do they usually add more on later or have they cut back that much?

We're more evening than early morning folks and prefer the later EMH over those starting at 8am.

There will be at least four MK PM EMH's per average four-week period.
(In effect, one PM EMH per week.)

But, it's possible that your particular set of dates falls when an MK EMH is moved a bit
from it's "regular" night.

What are your exact trip dates?
I see that the normal MK PM EMH would be Sunday night, but
on Nov. 2, there is not one scheduled.

So if they only have evening EMH for DHS and Epcot right now should I expect they will add one evening for the MK?

November 2-9, but they only have hours posted through the 7th though. I hope it's not the 9th since we'll be flying home that evening.

Thanks.

MK usually has EMH on a Sunday night but as Robo said, these can change if there are hard ticket events or anything special or irregular going on that week.

I feel like we used to have an evening emh option each night. Oh well.

Depending when you used to travel you might be right. We used to go during Easter and Spring Break and until 2011 (I think) AK also had evening EMH and MK had them on Friday and Sunday nights during the peak times. So pretty much every night there was an option. I had to get used to it when we switched to Fall trips. As of 2012 they stopped doing the Friday night (or whatever the second night was) of evening EMH at MK so it's just once a week now.

You're looking at the wrong calendar.

You should not bother checking the "official" WDW calendar as it is notoriously inaccurate and slow to post updates.

You should use THIS calendar for November.

(Anyone looking for December 2014 hours should check THIS link in about 10 days or so. As soon as the Dec. dates are available, that "Page cannot be found" warning will change to the Dec. calendar.)

I like to go to the different events so we switch the time of year around. I say boo hiss for the change but what can you do.

Thank you. :goodvibes Everything is so complicated with planning a WDW trip, you can't even count on the official calendar. :dance3:

I also remember evening EMH being 3 hours long, our last 2 trips...only 2hours long. Becoming less of a perk

Yes, they were 3 hours. It's the primary reason I like to stay onsite so if they don't have it I'm going to also research offsite resorts for our next trip.
