I know it says that if you want to come back for an emh night, you can get your band no earlier than 2 hours before closing.

Ok, say you leave mk at 1:00pm too early to get band.

Do you have to come back 2 hours before closing to get band and then stay in park?

And what if when you come back the park is closed for capacity reasons?

You can come back any time after the "two hours prior" point and get a wristband. You can come back any time after EMH has begun and get a wristband. For example ... you leave MK at 1pm and EMH starts at 9pm. You can come back any time between 7-9pm to get your wristband OR you can come back anytime after 9pm to get your wristband.

If MK is closed at capacity during regular operating house, you can probably pick up your wristband at Guest Relations, although I'd ask at your resort before you head over. But MK will never be closed at capacity DURING EMH -- there simply aren't that many people staying on property.

You wont have to worry about the park being at capacity that late in the day.

The park, when it reaches capacity, is normally at the peak of the day (except for holidays) during the middle of the day and then falls off the rest of the day.

With the possible exception of July 4 and New Year's Eve, both nights that people load into the parks at dusk in order to see the fireworks.
