EMH usefulness?

In our trip in Feb 2005 we tried to make full use of morning and evening EMH's...it did not work at all. It was crazy busy, much busier than during the day. It was nothing like our previous experience with e-nights where you had to pay to attend. February this year was particularily busy as well, so perhaps we didn't get a good idea of how the EMH system is working out.

We are planning to go back to Disney the first week of Dec. What has been other's experience with EMHs? Should we bother to give them another try?

I would think that the first week of December would be slow. You should have a great time using the EMH during your stay. We were at WDW in June and the evening EMH were a total waste. Far more people than the old E-nights. The mornings were fine and you could get a lot done in a couple of hours.

EMH always means larger crowds than normal for that park on that date. it's not always a done deal to attend EMH's. Remember, the only people who can attend EMH's are Disney resort guests (over 27,000 rooms available x average number of people per room), Shades of Green guests (about 600 rooms), Dolphin and Swan guests (3,000 rooms) and the Hilton (unk number of rooms). Hey! that's not too many people to compete for a ride on Dumbo!

Well, that is assuming that everyone who is at the resort wants to spend longer at night at the parks...and even know that they can do so. I depend upon other's ignorance to keep the numbers down. I was hoping that EMH nights would be the same as e-nights on our last trip but I guess the extra $10/tickets for e-nights helped filter out some folks.
