EMH Strategy at MK

I am using the unofficial guide to disney 2013 for my
ride to ride itinerary.
Our first day at MK is an EMH opening at 8. How should I change
my ride to ride strategy?
Has anyone ever used this book's guide?

Are you asking if you should change it because of emh, FP+ or both? For emh, we usually head to Fantasyland and either stay there or move down to TL. There are a lot of factors depending on what you are trying to do int he day.

If your looking to actually follow a list of rides in an order I would highly suggest going over to touringplans. While I have not used them with FP+ I used them last July during level 7/8 park days with great success.

There is also other online options as well but I really like what they have offered for a pretty cheap price.

As a note if you know about the site basically you say what park your going to which day and list out your rides. At that point you say you want to avoid walkings or avoid lines more and just hit optimize and it creates the list for you. Best thing is that if you have a smartphone you can keep optimizing throughout the day so it is actually fed with live data of ride wait times and what not....

The Unofficial Guide to Disney books and touringplans.com are the same people/company. If you decide to sign up for touringplans, you can get a discount for owning a current version of the book. Make sure you look for it on the website.

When you are using touringplans.com, you select the exact date and park that you are touring. The software already knows if it is an EMH day for that park and the hours. It will ask you if you are touring during the EMH time and will incorporate into your plans, if you choose. You can also enter your FP+ times You can use their touring plans or customize your own based on your touring style, info from the UG, and tips from disboards. When I used it for our previous trip, my family thought I was nuts to have the touring all planned out, but they were happy when they spent a minimal amount of time in line.
