EMH Question at MK

Ive read with the new opening procedures that you can enter main street an hour before park opening. Grab breakfast, starbucks, etc and wait around he hub formhe opening show and official park open.

My question is, how does it change for a morning with EMH? For instance, park opens at 9am but EMH starts at 8. Does this mean 8 is the earliest you can go in to main street or does it possibly mean you can now access main street at 7?

Thanks!

I've been asking around about this. I haven't heard for sure what time they are letting everyone in but I think maybe 7:30? But then if you are eligible for EMH you have to go to the tomorrowland side of the hub and you scan your band to be allowed past the hub area. Everyone else has to wait in the hub until nine.

I was there last week when MK had Morning EMH I got to MK around 8am and they just let the guest into the park at this point there where CM with scanners that would let Resort guest thought and people not staying on site where able to walk around Main Street until the 9 am opining,

Ditto.
I was there, too.
The CMs with scanners were at the hub entrance to Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, checking for and admitting only WDW resort guests.

there should be another EMH tomorrow and hopefully it will be more organized than last week. We will be there next Friday. I was hoping they would let us in at 7am so we could grab breakfast but it does not sound like it.

There was no problem with being disorganized last week.
The procedure is to let all guests onto Main St. at 7:45-8:00, or so, every day, regular or AM EMH.

The difference on AM EMH days is to only let guests of WDW resorts into the EMH sections of the MK by scanning MBs/tickets at the hub entrances to Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.

Works very well.

I read reports that EMH guests had no clue where to go and neither did the CMs and that it was chaos.

I can confirm from todays EMH that there were no CMs checking passes and no ropes to fantasyland or Tomorrowland. If you were a non-resort guest who happened to arrive early today you got in with everyone else.

But were they scanning at the entrance to rides? They might have had it all open but like PM EMH, scanning at all ride entrances to verify on site

That would be much more expensive and difficult than the single scan at the entrances to TomL and FanL.
I wonder if they actually did it like they've been doing AM EMH at the other parks, and scanning MBs from one family member in the group just before the main entrance tap styles.

Otherwise, they may have simply dropped the ball (again.)

Nope. We walked on 4-5 rides the first hour and met Ariel. (We have a 2yr old). No one checked our pass and never witnessed anyone else being checked. No ropes at all.

What about at the main entrance? Maybe they only let emh guests onto Main Street and offsite guests waited at the usual entrance?

And, there's the method that they used for years to "screen" AM EMH at MK.

Holding guests over at TTC until closer to regular hours opening time.

Many (most) WDW resort guests take the resort buses directly to the MK gates area.
