Wondering if anyone can help me with an EMH problem. Here's my situation. In September I am staying seven nights at FW and am getting a seven-day MYW pass. My sister is joining me during my second day at FW and my first day at the parks, which will be EPCOT. She will also have a 7-day MYW pass. The day she is arriving is the evening EMH at EPCOT. Because of her drive, the earliest she can get to EPCOT is 8:00 pm. (I will be there during the day) Regular closing hour will be 9:00 pm.
1) Where at the parks do you get your wristband for the evening EMH?
2) Is the two-hour rule still in effect? Is she out of luck because she cannot get to the park before two hours before closing?
3) Anyone see a solution to this problem? Can I pick up a wristband for her?
Either way she is going to us one day on her MYW pass even if it’s just to walk around.

You don't have to be at a park 2 hours early. It' just that the wristbands are not distributed until 2 hours prior.

The things to remember--- EMH hours do follow a pattern but are not set. I don't know when you are going in Sept-- but the Night of Joy may alter some of the EMH hours for the week.

The other thing is, I don't know it's really a good value to use an entire ticket for EMH. Remember the parks are not fully running during EMH-- so she'd be using a full day for 1/2 the attractions. (if that)

We were especially disappointed with Epcots EMH evening. Almost ALL of World Showcase is closed. Maelstrom is open, and all of Mexico. That is IT... everything else is closed.. no shops, no food or drink stands... test track is open. Mission space was open.. the new Soaring may be added to that since its a new attraction. She would be better of saving her MYW day, and getting to Epcot on their MORNING emh day and take advantage of that hour to get the major attractions done. Which really..is just the 3.. Soaring, TT and MS.

Oh Great! I misread the info on evening EMH and thought you had to get the wristband at least two hours before the park closed. This will work out great for us. Sister is only staying 6 nights, so she can only use 6 full days. We figured it would be worth the $4 to $7 (the difference between a 6-day pass and a 7-day pass) to spend a couple of hours at EPCOT.
We will continue to monitor the websites for changes to EMH. Not going during Night of Joy week.
Where do you get the wristbands?

Epcot distribution points:
Main Entrance, Future World East Breezeway, Future World West Breezeway, International Gateway and Mexico Bridge
