who is actually staying at the resorts and who isn't? I know when they have the extra hour in the morning you need your resort key but what about when the extra hours are at night?

I believe that you have to get a wristband sometime before the close of the park to non-Disney resort guests

You show the CM your resort key card and they put a wristband on you. Only people w/wristbands are allowed on the rides.
