EMH "exlusive early-entry queue" for RSR FP distribution? Where is it?

I was just reading my 2015 copy of The Unofficial Guide to Disneyland, and they state that since I have EMH (staying onsite), that I need to "Get in the exclusive early-entry queue for RSR FP's at least 10 minutes before official park opening."

Does anyone have any experience with this?

WHERE is this "exclusive" EMH FP distribution happening?
Is it right next to the regular FP distribution machines at bug's land? Or somewhere in Cars Land itself?

Any advice/input/description of where to go for this would be sooooo appreciated!

Looks like the Unofficial Guide is out of date already!

To my knowledge, they do not allow you to line up for FP anymore during EE. You can kind of mill around the area if you want to be one of the first ones to get a FP before the regular entry folks get to the line, but they do not allow you to line up like they used to. I would probably just ride RSR and TSMM during EE and grab a FP later when it's convenient for you. They have been lasting longer into the day now.

I would love to get a later in the evening one...so maybe we shouldn't worry too much about rushing to get to the FP line before the park opens to the regular public...

When we went in August and the parks opened at 8am, we got a FP at around 11am for 7pm-8pm.

You can really wait it out now if you want an evening FP ride. I was there on Sept. 12 and I pulled a FP at 1:00 for a return of 6:50-7:50.

Last week they allowed EMH people to line up for Racers FPs 10 minutes before they opened the park. They actually opened the Fastpasses at 5 minutes before.

In terms of how long they last... got a Fastpass on Wednesday for 5:30PM at 11AM. So, yes, they were easy to get without having to race there first thing.

Awesome info, everyone! I'll just keep an eye on my "Lines" and "Mousewait" apps...and call Otto too...to keep tabs on the FP return time. I think I'll plan to grab one by 11 AM at the latest, to be on the safe side.
