Has anyone checked disney's site lately? I looked to see if this has been posted yet, but didn't find anything. It looks like they added more EMH days during that week. :cool1:

EMH MORNINGS:
MK: May 4 & 6
Epcot: May 2 & 3
MGM: May 1 & 3
AK: May 7

EMH EVENINGS:
MK: May 4
Epcot: May 3
MGM: May 1
AK: May 5

From this it looks like there is EMH morning and evening on the same days at the same parks. Crazy huh? Makes it hard to avoid the crowds! Either way I will have a blast!

Actually, looking closer, all of May EMH days have changed. They added a lot more I guess for the celebration! :cool1:

It looks like Epcot has a morning AND evening EMH now on some of the same days!
most of the extras seems to be more morning hours.
I wonder if they will add more nights as well.

Go to Disneyworld's website, click on the calendar, then extra magic hours, scroll down to May, and there is a lot more days added than before. :cool1: The other websites (like WDWinfo) haven't updated their hours yet.

OK.....I see it now.

Question: On Thurs. May 26th we are just going to relax this day and park hop and shop at DTD. We have a PS at Ohana's at 6. Then Epcot is open late this night.....we wil be able to go over to Epcot after our dinner for the EMH? Will we have to be there by a certain time?

Thanks for you help!

:cool1:

From what I've been reading that sounds correct. I don't think you have to be there by a certain time to get your wristband. I haven't been to Disney since 1998, so this EMH stuff is very new to me. Maybe someone else will have a better answer for you. :sunny:

ahhh!! I have to update my daily scheulde thing now...I want the June hours to come out though so I can plan the rest of our disneymoon!

No Kidding! I had my itinerary all planned out and now I have to rethink it and restrategize. Eek! This is our first trip with the kids (DS5 and DD2).

Doesn't change our plans much... The only additions to our vacation week were MK , MGM and EP early morning. We may do the EP early morning (same day we were planning to go anyways).

If they add more evenings though I might do that... do you think they will? :)
And I noticed Animal Kingdom hours haven't changed...

Oh my! Now I have to go over my whole plan again! Well, I guess it just adds a little bit more excitement to our planning. And here I thought I had it all finished :flower:

But isn't it crazy that they have the EMH morning on the same day as the EMH evening?!?! Like on May 4 EMH morning and evening is at MK. Will that make it super crowded? Do you hop on those days? Have they ever done that before? It's the same for Epcot on May 3 and at MGM on May 1. :confused3

:confused3 Now I have to look at our schedule again. I guess this means the parks will be jam packed that week.

I have a few questions maybe you guys can help me out with...

1. when do you have to pick up the wristbands (before official closing time?)
2. with extended evening hours what times are the parks GENERALLY open until?

Last year we did eride which was similiar but you had to pay- MK stayed open until 1 am what about epcot? studios? AK?

Any opinions would be much appreciated!

I wonder if they think it will be more crowded - did they have more EMH's for busy times like now during spring break/Easter?

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this! We'll be there from 5/12-5/21 this year & hadn't seen the new EMH schedule. Just when you think you're done planning... . I'm very excited to say that there will be an EMH every single morning that we are there now. We really missed going to one every morning back in January (plus, it was too cold many nights to stick around for the nighttime EMH.) Now I need to move around a couple PS's - Thanks! :)

Glad you posted this as well, but I'm kind of bummed....we had Cindy's table Weds. morning at 8:20, and was looking forward to main st. all to ourselves. Ah well, maybe we can squeeze in a ride or waking up Tink before breakfast.

Do you think they did this in anticipation of large crowds? They haven't extended the regular operating hours like they normally do during crowded times. I love the idea of more morning hours.
