I thought I read somewhere that Disney tested having extra time for resort guests at night - does anyone know if it went well and we may see this happening?

Thanks!

This testing of the Early Morning at night was done back in May. There has been no further information about what Disney thought of it or if they would bring it back. From what I read the guests really liked it as the extra night time hours were pretty quiet - which (of course) means no waiting for popular attractions.

We were there for the EMH test and it was great. If I were someone who normally stayed off-property, this perk would difinitely convince me to stay on-property.

If the results were all that great, wouldn't the plan have been implemented right away?

During the summer when the park hours are already extended, I don't know how practical it would be to try this.

I think they are looking for a perk to increase resort use during the non-peak seasons.

It was mentioned on mouseplanet that EMH at night will be starting up in Jan.

My family would love it. We are late-nighters, NEVER take advantage of the EE stuff. I hope they add some late-night hours for resort guests!

When I was a kid, my family often closed down the MK. It was open 'til midnight and Main Street 'til 1am. By the time we got back to Ft. Wilderness it would be close to 2am (we camped there every summer) and we would search for armadilloes on the walk back to our trailer. I remember it so fondly... There is something EXTRA special about the World after midnight!
