EMH at MK (mornings)

I originally planned to have Thursday, Dec. 14th as an off day from parks while on our trip, with just some shopping at DTD and catching the 6pm cirque du soleil show, but I've become a bit nervous. I have MK planned on a Monday and a Saturday (both days of which I've been warned of high crowds at MK ), so I'm not sure if I want to try EMH mornings at MK maybe just for 2 hours or so, then go shopping. I also want to get a nap in before cirque. The night before I'll be in MGM and staying until Fantasmic at 7pm. Do you think we may be too tired to get up for EMH at MK? How are the crowds during the morning there? I'm traveling with DH and DD3. Oh yeah, and I leave in 3 days!!

Well, we always do the morning EMH at MK because it's the best time to get Fantasyland done (and Dumbo is FIRST thing!) And we don't do any of the other EMH's anywhere else. It's a must-do in my book if you have little ones. It's one of the things I plan the rest of our trip around...set in stone.

We don't plan to stay there all day though. We stay until the park starts to get busy, 11ish or so (as you mentioned).

I would try to do it if I were you.

EMH in the mornings at MK are great if you can get there right when it opens to resort guests. The first hour should have minimal lines. Usually the park only becomes crowded by afternoon, so the morning should be great. We often take our toddler to the parks on Tues or Thursday mornings after we drop ds off at school. By 9am on EMH the waits in Fantasyland are just starting to appear, especially at Dumbo and Peter Pan. By the time we leave at 1pm to pick up our son at school, there are alot of people entering the park.

We love EMH at the MK-always seem to get in Space Mt., plus Fantasy Land and Haunted Mansion before we notice the crowds. By this time, we grab fast passes for Splash or Thunder MT. and eat lunch while we wait. We always leave after this.
