Emh at 7 still arrive hour early

Still crowded at rope drop on EMH days - it's you and every other guest that stayed on property, PLUS people staying at the good neighbor hotels at Disney Springs.

I get it’s gojng to be still ridiculous just asking as I know it will be harder to get my family moving another hour earlier

Your best bet is still to get there an hour early. That makes your use of emh the most valuable.

Yeah early mornings are tough, you might see a slight reduction in crowd because of how early it is....but in the case of HS, I would expect the crowds to be exactly the same as a regular EMH once SWGE opens and would plan to arrive just as far ahead (or maybe a little farther ahead) as a regular EMH day that starts at 8.

We have EMM @ both MKand HS to try and take care of some of the more popular ride..and fast passes for River&FOP at AK
So all I’m hoping for is to get there and when the crowds head one way hopefully we will be heading the opposite :)
I just finished booking Mears for all mornings to try and make my solo trip with the 4 kids as easy as possible .. to me buses, lines , stroller is just more stress I don’t need in this trip :)

So which park are we talking about? MK I assume? And when?

Being at the tapstyles/MK front entrance at 6am for a 7am-8am MK EMH is too early in my opinion, you’ll be doing a fair amount of sitting/waiting (unless you are trying to be among the very first people in the park). I think you have some flexibility to push that more towards arriving 6:30ish without material negative consequences.

I agree with this based on previous experience with 7am emh at Magic Kingdom. Monorails started at 6:30am the day we went to 7am MK emh.

We booked an suv or van for all our mornings

We have done this multiple times and doing it again Friday. 6:30am. The buses might be running at 6am, maybe. Either monorail nor the ferries will be running that early.

when does mk open at 7am??? we r there in the middle of summer and emh are from 8 to 9 am

Friday, 3/22, this week. Sometimes during Thanksgiving and xmas week too.

Agree-a 7:00 AM EMH at MK does not require as early an arrival as an 8:00 AM EMH to be beneficial.

The percentage of Guests who,on their vacation, are willing to get up early enough to make a 7:00 AM EMH just isn't that huge(UNLESS something new has just opened!).:)

Where will Mears drop you? TTC will be hard to get to MK that early. They don’t expect non-hotel guests to be there that early. If you don’t get dropped at the park entrance, then you should just take the bus. We usually drive but have gotten stuck at the TTC early waiting for transportation to start. We plan to take the bus, not even the boat, from Wilderness Lodge on 3/22 for 7am EMH at MK.

You could have the Mears Taxi drop you at the Contemporary and then walk over. This also avoids the security line at MK since there is one on the walking path.

This was my experience in October 2017 - we were at the turnstiles at MK around 7am and had a great experience. 7DMT was around 30 minutes, the castle was clear for photos etc.
