We are taking our first family trip June 5-June 11.We have ps for Cinderella's Royal Table at 8:15 on that Thrusday.I wasn't quick enough when calling for the days before. This is an EMH and we are not staying on property.Which would be worse. To stay at MK or have breakfast and then off to AK.We will have a car and have park hoppers.I am also wondering what time we should arrive at the gate to make our 8:15 ps. We will be visiting MK on Wednesday too but I want 2 days at MK.

I have learned so much on these boards. Thanks

I, personally, would have breakfast and head out to Animal Kingdom.

I'll give you a bump and maybe others can give you some more insight! :)

Don't miss the Princess Breakfast. You can look out at Fantasyland through the windows and see if it is too crowded. If it is go to AK, otherwise stay at MK. The last time I needed to do this, there was a CM at the gate checking PS numbers and letting people in early. Get there around 8 and see if you can sneak in a ride or two (or pick up a fastpass) before breakfast.

If you bring a shirt, the princesses will autograph it. (It can't be worn at the time) There are some great sales now at the Disney Store and you can get shirts with the princesses together. Bring a permanent marker. It is a fun souvenir.

Thanks for the great tips LDV. I am worried about not arriving at opening time at AK. Is it better, crowd wise, to stay at MK or arrive at AK around 9:30am. Oh, and will I be able to get through the EE crowd to make my ps time?

I think I would actually try to arrive before 8:00, probably more like 7:45. They tell you to report 10 min. early for your PS.

They sell some really cute "Princess" hats also. You can get autographs on those too. Don't forget an autograph book, which is sold practically everywhere in WDW. It's nice to leave the page opposite the autograph blank, to add a picture of the child with the Character later!

If you have time for another Character Breakfast, they do a Storybook Princess Breakfast in Norway at Epcot that features usually 5 of the glamour girls. Jasmine, Snow White, Belle, Mulan, Mary Poppins, Sleeping Beauty or Pocahontas are the usuals. It is lovely.

Either before or after breakfast, depending on what time you arrive, stop into Tinkerbells Treasures, a little shop near the castle. They have the first child to arrive each morning "wake up" Tink. It's a very cute & magical ritual! Don't tell your child though, or they might be disappointed if they aren't first.

Enjoy & take lots of pictures! ::MickeyMo

If it was me....I would have breakfast and then do a few things at MK until the place was packed. When you decide that you've had enough, then move on to AK. Since many consider it a half day park, you could find that the afternoon isn't that busy. Renessa

If I were you I'd try to get into MK shortly before 8:00 am.... like 7:55. I'm assuming they will let you because you have a PS. Then I'd grab a fastpass and maybe a quick ride or two before breakfast. After breakfast I'd head to Adventureland first, to avoid all the EE people in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. Hit some rides there and then head over for your fast pass. Depending on the crowds at that point I'd probably hit a couple more rides and then leave. (head to AK or back to the hotel ro rest, etc) Then go back to MK about 2 hours before closing and ride everything else you missed. :)
