EMH and Crowds

I'm rethinking my entire plan now based on EMH and crowd predictors. Currently, our plan is avoiding parks with AM EMH (except for Magic Kingdom on our last day). My reasoning for this is because we have a toddler and want to do character breakfasts most mornings and I figured heading into a park with EMH at 9am would be a bad idea. And I don't want to exhaust our toddler by getting up even earlier for EMH. But, now I'm looking at our predicted crowds, from TouringPlans, and even with EMH the crowds are (seemingly) much lower on those days than one of the days we have planned. The two days I' looking at our Animal Kingdom and Epcot days. We're planning on doing Epcot on a Monday ( predicted 4/10) but the day with EMH will be a 2/10. Animal Kingdom is a 4/10 for both days we're looking at (EMH and not EMH).

I haven't done Disney in about 6 years (and not with my own toddler) so I'm not sure what a 2/10 v. a 4/10 would look/feel like. I have heard a lot to avoid parks with PM EMH so we will definitely stick to that. Also, for Animal Kingdom, will we notice a difference between a 6/10 and a 4/10? Any thoughts on EMH or predicted crowds appreciated.

Okay, having done a bit more research on the forum, I see the general consensus is that crowd calendars are bunk.

That being said, any input for AM EMH at Magic Kingdom. Will it be bonkers? We would utilize the time primarily for Fantasyland and don't have any of the mountains on our list (2 year old and hubby and I have both ridden them plenty of times).

Bonkers can be subjective, but generally speaking I wouldn’t say it will be bonkers. But EMHs are popular and Disney does a good job marketing them. However they can be effective at MK for knocking out a few things with a little hustle for the hour - which can go by very quickly.

For a 8am-9am EMH... I’d be at the front of the park 7:30-7:45ish. Only Tomorrowland and Fantasyland are open during AM EMHs... so lots of rides for the 2 year old that will have manageable waits, under most normal conditions. You’ll likely encounter more substantial lines at things like PP and 7DMT, for example.

Good luck.
