EMH and BOG reservation

So I have an 8:15 AM BOG reservation for 1/1. Right now the park is supposed to open at 9am, so with my ADR I could get into the park early. But, if they extend the hours to 8am, then I'll be eating breakfast while lines grow around me. But, if MK has EMH that morning as well, I'll be able to ride for an hour then go to BOG.

Right now on 1/1 Epcot has late EMH...is there any chance that MK will open at 8am AND have early morning EMH that day?

Last year's calendar showed a early morning EMH (at 7) with a 8am regular opening, but Epcot didn't have EMH that day. I don't know how likely it is for 2 parks to have EMHs on 1/1?

I guess I'll just have to sit tight and wait for park hours to be updated. When they update December hours, would they update New Years day hours as well?

1. A chance? Yes.
2. It can happen during busy times, but not a guarantee, of course.

Best option is to wait for hours to be updated and decide after that what's best for your party. I'm waiting for hours updates too.
