embroidering designs?

I have some cherished pillowcases that my great-aunt embroidered for me and I learned how to embroidered as a teen.
When we go on our cruise next month I'd like to embroider a pillowcase for my daughter that the characters can sign.

When I used to transfer the designs, I'd buy designs that were iron-on. How can I get a DCL design on a pillowcase? I have the artwork/logo on my computer but can't figure out how to transfer it.

In the past I have found people on Ebay that will digitize designs for you. I think I paid $15.00 for a logo.
