Embriodered Ears Hat?

I thought I remembered hearing something a while ago when we were at the Magic Kingdom that the hat store was no longer going to be hand embriodering the ears hats with that pretty handwritten look and that is was going to be solely done by machines. Is this true? If so, is there any where else at Downtown Disney or one of the other parks that still uses the older machines? Thanks.

It is dont by machines, but looks the same as when family went years ago & got it done. I hope that helps!

We got ours in DTD several years ago. They have them at the Christmas shop. It is done with a machine but it is cursive and looks hand done. We got ours at least 7 or 8 years ago and that is how it was done, I can't imagine how they would do it with their hands, the fabric is so thick it would be hard to push a needle through and take forever! Also, I think machine done would be neater and more sturdy.

The newer sewing machines are really computers, they set it with the name you want, put the hat in, and the needles and thread go to town

What stores can you get the hats embroidered at? Will they embroider a mickey hat you already bought somewhere else or do you have to buy it at that specific store?? Thanks!

If I remember right you can get them done at any store you buy the hat at. I think once I bought a hat at a stand and brought it into one of the hat stores and they did it for me. I know its free if you get it done when you buy it, if you bring it in you might have to pay, but I dont think it is that much. I hope I have helped you.
