We are planning a last minute trip for next weekend, 4/27-4/29.

I'd like to see what people thought about the major differences between these two hotels. When we last year at Christmas we stayed at Embassy Suites and LOVED it. We thought the room was great and we really enjoyed the free breakfast buffet. My two year old DS is a super picky eater so its nice to start the day off with a buffet type meal as there will most certainly be something he will eat.

Can anyone offer some of the choices they have at Hampton? I looked at tripadvisor.com and it seemed like mostly favorable reviews, but I didn't see much about the breakfast. At Embassy they had fresh fruit, donuts, toast, cereal and of course lots of fresh hot items like eggs, pancakes and pototoes. I'd really like more than anything the fresh fruit and bread choices, as thats what my son tends to eat, though he does like pancakes and waffles on ocassion.

For our trip next week we could stay at Hampton Inn and Suites for about $90 less. This includes the price of ART, which we wouldn't have to use at Embassy.

So...what does everyone think? We don't spend loads of time in the room, but it is nice to have some place clean and comfortable to come back.

Any ideas, opinions are greatly appreciated, thanks so much!!

We haven't stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites ourselves (mainly because we try to stay within walking distance) but I have heard nothing but great things about it.

You can't go wrong with Embassy Suites. If you want a sure thing I would stay there...

Thanks for the reply...

I keep thinking that the sure thing is Embassy Suites, but it would be nice to save the $100 bucks!

Thanks again!!

I just stayed at the Hampton, and had the BEST hotel experience of my three DLR trips. Friendly staff (even remembered our name... upon walking in from the parks "Hi Mrs.Brosseau, how is your vacation?"), great pool, and good breakfast.
