Anyone stayed here recently?? Just curious if it still looks great and the rooms are nice.... Also, any tips about which rooms/floors to request (best areas?)??
Checked recent reviews on tripadvisor and all looks pretty good :goodvibes

Photos?

We are super excited about our up coming trip

My brother and I were just there for 4 nights over the Labor Day Weekend! Even though I'm local, I wanted to be near the park for my brother's visit and give him a more comfortable bed than my sofa.

The rooms are nice and huge. The room furniture is showing its age, but that didn't bother us. They did recently upgrade to flat-screen TVs, so that was nice. I think many of the Tripadvisor reviews still mention the older TVs, so this must have been pretty recent. The complimentary hot breakfast is much better than traditional continental breakfasts. And the interior courtyard of the hotel is gorgeous.

Based on some of the Tripadvisor reviews, we requested and received a "river view" room. It's not a very scenic river, but we wanted to avoid the one end of the hotel that looks across to a recycling plant. And we figured the river view would be slightly better than the freeway view on the opposite side as well.

The big caveat is that the location can be an issue for some. We had my car, but it still took about 15 minutes door-to-parking structure. It doesn't make the hotel conducive to a mid-day break from the parks. Not a big deal as long as you're prepared for it. The hotel is technically in Anaheim, but probably at the furthest point away from Disneyland. Sorry, we didn't take any photos of the hotel, but let me know if you have any other questions!

That does seem a long way away, and there are other all-suite hotels that are closer - Hilton Suites, Homewood Suites, Staybridge Suites, Quality Suites, Residence Inn, etc.
