Embarkment day drink

If you do not like the "drink of the day" on embarkment day, can you still order a different drink (i.e., a margarita or something similar) from the bar and have it served in the souvenir glass?

Yes! As a kid i always wanted the cool glass but they weren't gonna serve a pina colada to a 12 year old. So I just went to one of the bars on deck and asked for a chocolate smoothie in one of the glasses and they would always give me one no problem.

Thanks Mushu's Twin, I will give it a try. I am just not a fan of "red" drinks and the drink of the day on my cruises always seems to be red.

This is the Bon Voyage that is one of the sailaway drinks. This was on the Magic in 2016. It is half pina colada and half strawberry daiquiri

Okay, file this under stupid question, but neither of the drinks you mention are drink of the day for my cruise. .. did you just ask them to put your drinks in your own souvenir cup?

Nope, just about every cruise I have been on with DCL had these being offered for sale by servers walking around the pool deck. These are most always offered on embarkation day but may be in addition to the "drink of the day". You can also request these at any bar.

The mudslide has not been a drink of the day in my experience. I just like to order it when I am sitting around the pool during the cruise. It comes in a regular glass.

The Bon Voyage, on embarkation day, is always in those hurricane cups.
