Embarking with alcoholic beverages

We will be cruising on the dream next year. I know each adult is allowed to bring one 12 oz six pack aboard in carry on. My question is (if someone can help me) can I pack both my wife's and my six packs in my carry on making it two in one carry on? I have heard conflicting answers to this question. I appreciate anyone's help with this. Thanks

As long as you are arriving together, that is fine. If you will be arriving at the port separately (such as drop-off passengers and driver returns the rental), you would each need to carry your own allotment.

My husband and I arrived together and had both our allotments in one carry on bag. It was fine.

We had 14 bottles of wine for seven people in one suitcase. No one said anything. But as always, YMMV.
