Embarcation time

What time do they normally allow you to board the ship? I'm trying to plan when I should arrive at the terminal.

If you are there pretty early, you will be first in the queue, and board around midday. However, some people were still boarding just before the ship left: presumably as they had been delayed in their travel arrangements. Always best to get there well in time: besides, the lunch in Parrot Cay is just wonderful! Nat

We sailed on the July 24th Magic and boarding began at 11:45am. We arrived at 11:00 and there were already approx 100 people checked in and on line.

We sailed August 8th. Got to the terminal at about 11 am and boarding started promptly at noon. We were probably within the first 10 families to board. I really wanted to get on board early to feel like we had a full first day.

IF all is running on schedule (no storm delays, etc.) the port opens to incoming traffic at 10, the counters open for check in at 10:30. The big doors open at about 11:45. We usually try to arrive at the terminal about 11 - 11:30. This puts us in the first 150 or so people boarding, and I've never had any trouble getting any ressie I wanted using this schedule. I will put in the disclaimer that ALL my cruises are on the Magic (although 2 of them were from when the Magic did 4 day cruises). Palo and spa ressies do fill more quickly onthe 4 day as there are only 1/2 as many ressies for the same number of cabins.....

I will be doing the 4-day on Wonder, the only things I need to sign up for are

1. Oceaneers Lab
2. A tour for of the bridge(for my 11 year old son )
3. maybe a SPA treament

If you get there around 10:30am and check in, then are you in the terminal waiting for the doors to open to get into the ship? I have looked at so many pictures i cant remeber for sure what the teminal looks like, does the teminal have the replica of the ship? Is there somethings for the kids to keep them busy while waiting to enter?
