I have requested an email confirmation of my upcoming reservation two times. First at my original booking several months ago and then again when I had to change the dates the end of January. No email was ever sent. I've tried the chat feature and they tell me that I have to call. Is there an email that I can use instead of waiting on the phone? TIA

Did you book directly through Disney? Not through a TA or other method?

Did you make the original reservation yourself online or use a travel agent? For a regular Disney hotel you made online your MDE account will show a confirmation number you can refer to when doing future inquiries.

I booked and modified myself - no TA or any other method. I can see the reservation through MDE but I'm old fashioned, I like to have the paperwork showing me every detail. I should note that I quickly received the SOG confirmation but nothing about the AKL reservation. I really want to stay at AKL but it will be depending on finances.

Hmm, well you should have received a confirmation email from Disney. I assume you’ve checked usual suspects like maybe it went to spam? And your email address for your MDE account is correct? I know that’s a basic question, but just asking to cover all bases here.

Email address is correct and nothing in spam.

I never got one until I called and the CM requested it from GS. I think they stopped sending like they did in the past. I did an online check in and I’m able to see the info.

I received one at booking over the phone and another after modifying online. Both were in the past two weeks.

I was wondering if this was a recent change. I finally found the guest services email and sent them a message.

Please keep us updated. I've never had this happen. Did you book online? I don't even know if this is possible, but did you book through the app?

How weird! I booked online in Jan. and got the email confirmation within seconds, as mentioned by a pp. I then called GS and changed resorts and got another email confirmation. I changed resorts--again, (this time doing it myself, making the modifications myself in MDE) and got that email confirmation instantly. Maybe call GS/IT and ask what's up??

I just received a phone call from a CM in 'Executive Correspondence'. End result was another confirmation email sent which I received within 2 minutes.
To answer some of the questions from pp. I called since that is the only way I can get the the military discount. No TA involved. I check inbox and spam daily.
Life is good and 216 days until next trip.
