Just received an email from WDW with a new code (and pin#). It is for selected delux resorts from $124/night. The code is good for dates between 4/27-7/3/2003.

With Alaska Airlines starting service between Seattle and Orlando the end of May, I'm sorely temped to book...

Here's to wishing the economy will turn around (and DH's layoff worries disappearing!)!!!!

It has a pin number associated with it...

I'm a disneyclub member and like so many of us - have a disney.go account. When I get disneyclub emails they usually say just that - I'm guessing this one came off the disney.go account.

I have received post cards at home sporatically but receive the emails regularly.

When my sister planned and took a last minute trip in January, she called with a description of the code I received in December but not the code itself. They would have honored it, but she actually got a better deal by buying an AP. So you might want to call CRO and ask about the "Savings of $115 - $124 deal at selected deluxe resorts" offer instead of asking for the code.

Wish I was going!

I know that the codes are nontransferrable. But can you think of anything that you may have registered for on any of the Disney sites that may have made your email address come up. Just trying to figure out where they pull them from....

That's a great rate:bounce:
Too bad it doesn't go until the end of August when I'm going:D

registering on disney.go.

I actually entered their last sweepstakes almost every day they had the contest open and Won! not the trip, but the four mugs. It was the first that I'd won anything through an internet sweepstakes.

But if you can take advantage of the offer - I wouldn't hesitate to call CRO and ask about it...with or without an email of your own.

best of luck,
LA

I just got the same email. Its definitely from registering at disney.go. The end of the email reads:

You received this message because you provided your e-mail
address and wanted to receive planning tips & reminders as well
as future Disney offers via e-mail.

I too received code, am DC member and enter sweeps on Disney site daily. They always have you check for special offers. I check everything, ask for everything.

The only other thing I can think of is that my last stay at WDW was almost exactly 2 years ago. They may be trying to attract someone who has stayed on site before, but not that recently.

Okay, the bottom of my email says "You received this message because you provided your email address and wanted to receive planning tips & reminders as well as future Disney offers via email.

I am sure that one of the sweeps that I entered asked me to check whether I wanted to receive planning tips and reminders as well as future Disney offers via email.

Tomorrow if I come across the link, I will post it.

I received an e-mail also. This new code saves me another $334 off my May AXA ressie for the Wilderness Lodge. The e-mail says "save $115 per night (based on nondiscounted rate for the same room) when you stay at one of our enchanting Deluxe resorts for only $124 (plus tax) per night! This great rate is available for most nights from 4/27/03 to 7/3/03, but the number of rooms at this rate is limited." I would guess that the $124.00 per night rate would be for a standard view room at the Wilderness Lodge. I have courtyard view rooms reserved and this new code reduced my rate from $200.00 (AXA Code) to $175.00 per night.

Saving another $300+ on your trip - congrats!

That's dinner at V&A's! (well, that's how I'd spend it...)

If the first CM you get at CRO doesn't help you out - then try, try again.

I also received the e-mail with pin, and I am definitely not a DC. Would have joined, but they canceled it before I started planning this trip. I am waiting for AP discounts, but not holding my breath, because we are going for Easter. I wish I could get a trip in with this code, but that would be the end of June into July, the kids have four days to make up for snow, plus would be pushing the budget this close to the other trip. I have also entered the contests through Disney.go.com.

How fast after registering on Disneygo.com did anyone get the e-mail w/ a code and a pin#??

We are going during this time period -- and its a great deal!

Thanks in advance!

I have been registered at Disney.com for several years. I don't know if you registered today if would receive this particular code offer. It would not hurt to try though. Good Luck!

Catheren,
I have been registered at Disney.go for a long time, years, before they had the go part.

I have been registered with them for years, & have also entered their contests, but I did not receive this e-mail. If anyone who did receive this, is not going, could you please PM me?

My family & I would truly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Carolyn

They do cross check the pin code with name, so it won't work if you use someone else's code.

I've been a member of go for a while. However, I've been entering the Lilo and Stitch sweeps for 2-3 weeks now, and some of the other sweeps in the past week.

I am certain that I checked off something with language that precisely matches what was at the bottom of my email on one of the sweeps. I will post link as soon as I figure out what it was. It does not seem to be the DVD sweepstakes or the pc sweeps. Perhaps it was Lilo and Stitch as I haven't looked at that one again yet. There were some other sweeps that I think are gone now.

I too have been registered with disney.go for a long time. I did not receive it either. I just logged in and checked my account settings to verify my email address is correct, and it is. Under the E-Newsletter options, I have the first two selected and under Theme Parks and Travel, I have WDW, Online Disney Travel reservations and DVC selected (I am not a member of DVC, though). I also used to get the postcards in the mail, but have not received one for a long time (over two years).

Two other possibilities on how I got this offer come to mind:

1) Several weeks ago had requested a WDW video and vacation planner. Think I was asked about receiving special offers then.

2) Filled out a sweepstakes for a just ended sweepstakes on Womansday.com for a Disney trip. It asked me if I wanted special offers from WDW and I said yes.

I think the lesson is that anytime you are ever asked about any info from Disney, say yes.

While the deluxe offer is great, what I would really like is an even less expensive (under $100/night) offer on the moderates.
