Email/postcard codes, Post your rate! April-July

If history repeats itself then your rate is a glimpse on what they may release in the future for room only code. I know they did the same thing this past Aug/Sept when I got a email code and it was then released about a month later to everyone with the same discount.

Please post what resort you got and rate. If you price other resorts please post those as well.

I'm getting a $59 value rate for May.

Same here $59 but through June for the Value resorts. But I am seeing some people using this discount towards other hotels. I wonder if it will work that way.

I think you can use it for any resort but the only put the value resorts on the cards.

The email code I used was good for all resorts if it was available during from Feb 17 thru July 4th.

Those dates cover both peek and regular season, so the rates were different for April and June. There was a great AKL rate available for Savannah view of I think, $166 (inc tx)

At the time I booked June at CBR for $79 ($88 inc tx).

I later booked April at POR for $104 (I think) without tx.

Rates were very good at the deluxes as well, but more than last yr during value season when I used a code. GF last Aug/Sept/Oct/Nov/early Dec was $255 before tx and is $279 before tx for April, 2005.

Last Aug/Sept/Oct/Nov/early Dec POP was $49 ($55 with tx), Moderates $79 ($88 with tx) and deluxes varied according to resort. AKL was $109 standard, WL Courtyard was $132 etc.

I got an email code for $59/night/value-4/17-7/4. I am waiting to hear what it would be at AKL, if available. I will let you know when I find out. I know my code came from my registration off the official Disney site. It listed some of the preferences for activities I had in my itinerary. When I first registered I put in all our "correct" information, like that we were staying at AKL. I thought later that that was silly because if they KNOW we are staying there, they won't send a code so I switched it to "other" and low and behold, I got a code!

I have some notes with other dates and one other resort (value), not much less at $1878, so the moderate was the best value.

Thank you very much! We are looking at the same thing except it would be 2 adults 1 child (Which would be a little cheaper) and either POFQ or AKL/WL pending on if it's available...

Thanks Backibecky - glad to see they'd let you add on the dining and tickets to the reduced room rate.

I'd love to see what someone is quoted for the Poly for mid-May garden view with that code. Just trying to guess what kinda price we might get should general codes get released and if we could move up to the Poly (I have POFQ booked now). I did go to disneyworld.com and change our hotel to "non-Disney" so I'll see if that gets us a code! LOL! I've only gotten a code once and that was a postcard!

I got a code for $79 for any moderate for stay between April - July4th - You have to book by Feb 28.

What to hear something funny. For one - I'm totally convinced that they get your info/email when you order their free planning video/DVD. I ordered one for a friend of mine (Last name Moore) and I used my email address - so I was sent their code/coupon. I'll be their July 31 - so this wouldn't work for me anyway. The Moore family will be joining us this summer. Too bad I couldn't use that code for our July/Aug stay!

I switched my profile information Monday/Tuesday last week and the email came last night at 10:30 pm or so. I re-read the email and they started off the email stating that my trip planning kit was on the way-which I ordered a couple weeks ago off the Disney website. Try ordering that. I do remember putting in information when I ordered about when we are going, etc. I am pretty sure that they asked where you were planning on staying (I can't remember exactly) and I selected off site or something along that line. I wouldn't select anything that says you are staying onsite. Why would they send a discount code if they know you are staying there for sure.

The email said:

"Staying at Disney Value Resorts can make your dream vacation a reality!

We're glad to know you're thinking about coming to visit this spring. That's why we'd like to offer this chance to stay at a Disney Value Resort"
