Hi,

I received an email pincode from Disney today. Originally I thought it was an offer put out by disney for everyone, so I emailed it to my sister. I later reread it and it had a pincode to call in. We already have a trip booked, so would she be able to use it? I have never received one and don't know how this works. The dates are nowhere around our trip so changing it is out for me.

I've just recieved one too. From what I've read on the Boards, they haven't sent them to Canadians before. Mine is from www.disneyworld.ca, it's the first thing I've gotten from them and I've been register for about a year or more.

My sister is also going, but I really don't think I'll get there to use it :sad1:
 
I received a postcard (with pin code) from disney back in 2002 for a great rate on the All Stars ($49 a night)....haven't received a thing since then :guilty: ...the email pin code would be great though :banana:
 

OK, now I'm excited! They NEVER send stuff out to us Cdns. PLEASE let me get a pin code for our Feb WL trip :wizard:

As for your original question - you actually might be better off posting on the Codes/Discounts section of the resorts forum. Because we generally never get these, we probably aren't the experts LOL (well - at least I certainly am not the expert :teeth: )
 
I went to the Disney.ca website to see if I could log in with my regular ID and password (the one I use to register on Disney.com etc). Anyway, I can't see where you 'log on' to the Disney.ca site?? I just want to make sure they have my info if they are sending out stuff to Cdns. If I am registered with Disney.com do you think that would cover Disney.ca too?? Sorry to stress, but we really could use a better rate than the CAA one we have now. This could be the difference btwn Chef Mickey's and Chefs de France LOL ;)
 
I am only registered with Disney.com. I also received the e-mail. The first time I've ever gotten anything like this. It is from "Walt Disney Resort in Florida." But at the bottom after the code is the disney.ca website address. The quote for the code is in US dollars not Canadian. Therefore, it seems to me that it came from the US website not the Canadian one.

I too have never received anything from Disney, then yesterday Pluto appeared on the email :paw: the code says for value resorts, but it also worked to upgrade to WL. That's what I've been wanting to do as I have teens and the bunk beds will be a life saver!!! :love1:

I did the same and I can't find where to log in on disney.ca. I know I did register with them as well as disney.com and I know that I used to be able to log in on the .ca site. :confused3
 
Well, I'm going to go and check my profile on disney.com just to make sure all the info is correct - although I guess it might be too late for this round. Man, I really could have used a discount for WL. :guilty:

It was in my junk mail folder..gasp!

A ? to those who got a pin code:
Did any of you already have a trip booked with WDW for the dates of the code, but still received a code? I already have a room only booked and wondering if this is why I didn't get a pin?
I am signed up at disney.ca and disney.com and have requested the dvd a couple of times.

Congrats to those who received a pin . That is great news. Even if you can't use it now, at least you may receive one in the future for dates you will be at wdw....

Just curious....those who got the email pin code...what was the subject line and what was the sender address ?...I get a lot of junk mail and if I don't recognize the name, I dump it.........now if it had the word Disney :goodvibes

The email was in my spam folder, but does say from Walt Disney World Resort, subject is; Great rates on WDW vacations. It only says for value resorts, then I did checking into it and it works for my existing CBR reservation. I'm now upgrading to WL. It saved me $800. Hope you all get one!!! :sunny:
 
I got one too! And it was in my junk folder!!!!

Probably will not be able to use it unless we win the lottery between now and then, but it is a start. Glad to see they are including CDNs now!!!

Darn, :sad1: I didn't get one and I have signed up to both sites. I already have booked too maybe thats why I haven't received one. I would have loved a code to help bring the costs down.

I got one too....thought it was just a generic advertisement for everyone, then I read this thread, rechecked my email and there was the pin code!!!

Dont think that I will be using it though as I am booked on dvc points for the Jan 1st to the 12th at SSR.
 
Hi,

I had signed up at Disney.ca to get the DVD last spring. We do have a trip booked for April and the dates for this email pincode was Jan 1-12 and sometime in Feb. not when we are going. Flights for the dates are 3 times what we paid, so it would make no sense to even change it. I am still hoping for the Visa's at Par to come out soon!

I got a PIN code email too! I was so excited. My sister just looked at me and said "Great. What's a pin code?"

It won't work for our December trip, and I don't see myself going again in January or February. I'd love to return in March, but I think my bills might have something to say about that!
