Email On Rates!!

My Mom and I both signed up for e-mails, they verify mine when I call. We both have AP's, which they have acknowleged in e-mails we have received. She is a Disney Club member, I am a DVC member. We regularly receive the e-mail newsletter. Neither of us has ever received a room discount offer.

Just called for info on the email rate. Couldnt get a good answer to my question of how to get the rate? I havent received an email rate and the person I talked to said she didnt know if I would receive the email offer. I made sure my email address was up to date. So will wait and see. Can someone please tell me what the dates for these rates are? Thanks.

OK I just called CS, these were sent out randomly.
My code and pin# were just for deluxes, the AKL and WL were $109 a night pre tax and like $121 after tax (standard view) and the rates were from 8/24-10/1. The contemporary didn't have rooms, the Poly was like $233 a night for garden view and GF was like $278 a night garden view.

Took, just like you, I received the post card for the deluxes but we are going in December!!!

How do you get these things? Only the Disney folks know. In the past, I have gotten an email once (it was about value resorts), gotten a postcard twice that I remember. I have never been able to use any of them. I have had friends get the cards when I couldn've used them and I got nothing. We have stayed at values, mods and deluxe....so I don't know.

This is such great news but I have NOT recieved the email yet My family just decided we have enough $$$ to take a trip down either the end of August or anywhere up until November!

What I would do to get this rate .....but I haven't recieved anything yet so it doesn't look good .

We just received a postcard in the mail (post office). It is for the deluxe resorts and has the $109 rate. It is good 08/24-10/01/03.
We are thinking about it!

I got the e-mail for deluxe discount, and I just called and was able to get the discount for a moderate.

I just checked the mail and the postcard was in my mailbox. However, it had my mother's name on it. She used to live here but moved 10 years ago! She's been to Disney she she moved therefore they have her current address, at least they should.

I'm so jealous of all of you LOL Of course the opportunity to go down to Florida opens up for my family and we don't get an email. I remember getting a disney email a few weeks ago, but it wasn't for such a great discount like this.

Not quite sure about Disney having the correct addresses. I called Saturday to make my ressie for December and they had my old address in the system. I moved 2-1/2 years ago and have been to Disney 2x since and booked directly with CRO! I think they have me in the system under my name and my DH's. It's funny though because every time I call and go thru the name thing with the CM they always pull up the current info with my husbands name, never mine.

I'll get a postcard or and email-because we are already booked for December and I cannot change my dates because of DH teaching schedule. But thats just my luck.

cinmell - LOL! This is exactly what happened to us last year. We received a postcard in the mail addressed to my mother. She has NEVER lived at our address, but has traveled with us to WDW one year. I'm still trying to figure how they associated her name with our address. She had her own reservations using her home address and has never received a postcard. Go figure.

Well we had been kicking around a trip to WDW so I called. My husband can't go because of work and he'll be in his last semester for his Master's so he can't afford the time off so my mom will come with me. I called and explained that I have a postcard with my address but my mother's name and that she used to live at this address. They stressed that she would have to be in my travel party which she is. She was with me when I called and I thought I was going to have to put her on the phone! I was able to book the Polynesian but she had to be listed on the reservation which is fine. She hasn't been at this address in 10 years or so and she has been to Disney with her new address within the past 2 years so I don't know what database they are going off of.
